I understand Denard is a gamer and he's trying to do everything he can but this game is over get him out of the game before one loss turns into 4 or 5 with him on the sideline

It's not like Michigan is playing Auburn or anything. They are playing the defending national champions, the SEC favorite, and the most talented team, plus best coaching staff in the country.

The good news?

The team didn't quit. And Devin Gardner is going to be good when he learns the position.

By the way, I see some Denard bashing. Let me defend him.

Him, Hoke, and Borges are all stuck. They've done a nice job of accommodating the offense around Denard, but nobody else on the team fits his style. So it's a tough situation. Denard is a great kid, and hard worker. He just isn't a good thrower. He's electric with the ball in his hands, really tough kid, and has overcome some obstacles to become a great player. If he was in a spread option offense (like his sophomore year, where he threw for 2,500 yards, had a 18-11 TD/INT ratio, and completed 63% of his passes), he'd be one of the five best players in the country. He's just not a dropback QB.

No they aren't. That isn't the best defense and damn sure isn't the best offense. Michigan just sucks. Best defender is a white kid with limited ability and the offense is based on a guy who can't hit a bull in the ass with a bass fiddle.

You give Nick Saban eight months to prepare for a game and chances are you will get beat. Badly.

Of course Bama is going to be bad. Especially when you don't have your second best offensive player.

They will have a good run game, solid defense (although somewhat weak up front. They'll get better as the year goes along) and their pass D will be solid.

Yes, Michigan sucks. And McCarron is crap. I can name at least three other QBs in the league right now that would be sitting pretty in the pocket picking targets at will with a running game throwing down 200 yards backing him up.

Who has a good run game? Michigan? Based upon? Weak crap they play weekly?

Have you seen the pass D tonight? They aren't playing a passing game on the other side.

Oh, and weakness up front is the hallmark of awful defense. UTs last decade will attest.

Let's say, two 1,000 yard rushers last year?

And I said it will get better. Their secondary is good. They just can't get pressure up front. And Countess is hurt. He's their best corner.

And again, they are young. Talented but young.

And I never said Michigan is a national title contender. But they are co-favorites along with Wisconsin in the Big Ten.

Their run game and pass defense will lead them to 9-10 wins in the Big Ten. That's a good team, especially one that doesn't suck.

So basically you are saying that 110 FBS team suck then, right?

It's impressive how Bama continues to truck opposing dlines. If only our oline could develop that toughness and physicality.

Its what happens when you have the best coach in the biz and you recruit great players across the board. Sickening to watch as they are our biggest rival, but they got things rolling down there.
