Alamo bowl rings...hahah

So it would be okay if say, Texas Tech got rings for winning the Alamo Bowl instead of Texas?

Do you think schools should stop awarding rings to players for winning a bowl games?

I don't think a team like Texas Tech should do it either, but it would be more acceptable for them because that would be a bigger accomplishment than it would be for a school like Texas. It just feels like settling for mediocrity to me.

I get your point...if Alabama has to settle for the Outback Bowl this season, giving out rings for pummeling Purdue or Wisconsin probably wont mean much.

But if you don't think a mid-tier CFB program like Texas Tech should award rings for winning a mid-tier bowl like the Alamo, then you simply don't think teams should receive rings for winning bowl games, and I disagree with that.
