Can we get a free shoes u reporter to ask CTV if the season is a success if the BaseVols go 0 & Que in Omaha?
🤣🤣🤣
To my knowledge, dude that asked the question hasn’t been identified.

Y’all need to get a friking grip. This article is the same crap people (Vol fans included) have been saying all season, yet they’ve won 55 games and are the #1 overall team. I think the home run argument is a weak take. Who’s to say this team can and won’t play small ball if it’s needed? It’s not like they weren’t knocking them out of other parks too. No one has beat this Vol team twice since March, so worst case we drop game 1, I have full confidence in them coming through the bracket and getting it done.

I think Marvin West wrote this sarcastically, based on espn's assessment of the Team. Mr. West is a Tennessee Man (1950's Graduate) through & through, and unfortunately many on here failed to read it thoroughly and /or get it.

Whoever it was, it backfired. TV turned the question on its head! Generated some helluva
blackboard material…

Personally? I think someone is covering for John Adams.
It would be right up that hack adams' alley.... but VInce said it was the tv guy on the SportsTalk radio show,

We just won the SEC championship in a ballpark that is actually a little bigger than Schwab Field.
Also, Omaha Nebraska is about 600 feet elevation higher above sea level than Hoover.
Slightly thinner air ball travels better.
That bridge will still be there tomorrow night🧡🍊

Evansville had the potential to be another Loyola-Chicago. Putting away the teams you are greatly favored against is important, especially in crunch time.

Our 2022 football loss to South Carolina will fade some with time, Manning losing to Memphis, Fulmer and Wyoming and Butch Jones and Ga State are the ones that sting.

I don’t know any other game in Michigan history, but I know Appy State beat them at their house.

Losing to a rival or an equal team stings, losing to weaker teams can become infamous.
Thanks for bringing up these great Vol victories...OOPS! Somepeople still live in the past...jeepers wally can we just move forward with THIS team? I was hoping The Downer family reunion might be over, but it appears they're still eating sour grapes and roadkill delight.

But the wind is always a factor there. Tomorrow, it's predicted to be around 6-8 mph blowing straight in from center field.

I thought Ga State was on Cornbread? Yep, it was Cornbread. What a Klutz.

I cant think of many KNS writers since Marvin who had such a good handle on the Vols (even though he hired Al Browning, who reakky was a helluva good guy, and one talented sportswriter.)
RIP, Al

Baseball is all about the next pitch. Whatever happens on this pitch, good or bad, cannot stick around in your head to help or hurt on the next pitch. With 55 wins, I say we get ready for the next pitch pretty well. Why did our hurlers not give up a bunch of homers in LNS? Maybe they have some decent stuff. Play ball in Omaha! Go Big Orange. Make it to the Finals.

FSU is playing really good baseball right now. I know we wouldn't play them until the finals, but the Gators are also really hot at the right time.
