I see your point, but Joe's mentality is probably that eventually, they're going to get over on Lee and when it happens, they need to be in position to hold off a comeback. Thus you get Andy last night.

To be honest, Im kinda surprised Burnett is still on the roster. Yes Im serious.

I'm with you. He is a total waste of space.

I'd rather have Burnett pitch last night and trust that the Yanks will not have to face Lee in game 7, in Texas.

All i am saying is Tommy Hunter is horrible and if you really want to play pitching matchups i think it's in your best interest to save CC till game 5. Burnett implodes, then trust your bullpen.
Or option B, ride CC like a New Years day float till the wheels fall off. I would think more about winning this series in 6 and not worrying about a game seven with CC on short rest verses a well rested Lee.

Predictions for tonight?

I think Burnett gets touched up early and gives up three and then Joe goes through the pen like a mad man. Maybe hold em to one more run all the while rallying up late to take it by one in the 8th. Mo shuts em down and Sinatra sings.

5-4 pinstripes. Final.
