Hey Cruz, thanks for not doing that the whole 2nd half on my fantasy team.

Nelson Cruz just blasted one. You are right mullet, Price is throwing some nice fat fastballs today.

Somebody explain to me why Price is still on the mound in the 7th and well over 100 pitches, when we need him rested as possible for a 4th or 5th game?

Rays need this game bad. A game 2 pitching match up of C.J. Wilson vs. James Shields favors the Rangers a lot. TB may be going to Arlington down 2-0.

I'm thinking Maddon is trying to keep the bullpen as fresh as possible, seeing as how the offense has crapped itself and won't be scoring on Lee any time soon.

Very interesting. The AL East teams were great all year long, but neither one was doing so great toward the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if the Rays or Yankees go anywhere in these playoffs. In a short series, this win is huge for the Rangers. They pretty much nullified home field for the Rays with that victory. Now they don't have to win on the road again.

Other than Lee, the Texas starting pitchers are very inconsistent. You never know what C.J. Wilson, Colby Lewis or Tommy Hunter is going to show up.

I agree. Makes me wonder about them. But with Cliff Lee on the mound and just one of those others existing, a greattt bullpen.. they are scary

Chances are that one of them will even if the other two don't. And then you have Lee again...

Neftali Feliz is the real deal though. He was supposed to be a starting pitcher at some point and Fransisco is supposed to be the closer but Feliz was too good to move.

went to this game, was my first time at the Trop

the fanbase is really disappointing, there is so much potential with this team and no one seems to really show interest.

The place was pretty full but it was not very rowdy at all. i guess you have to give credit to cliff lee for shutting everyone up, but it's not like this is unusual.

Still had a good time though seeing some playoff baseball and having a few drinks at Fergs

Fergs is always a blast,my friends and i have pregamed there instead of tailgating and ended up just watching the game on the tv's.

I wasnt at the game but the energy seemed pretty good for a early afternoon first round playoff game. The horrible foul tip call and Cliff Lee seemed to suck the energy out of the place.

Baldelli replaced by Willie Aybar on Rays roster today due to injury.
