I'm debating taking my son to an ALCS game if the Rangers hold on tonight.

Kids and baseball games are a good match. He can catch foul balls with one hand and eat hot dogs with the other. Baseball moves at a kid friendly pace.

He is really enjoying T-ball right now and we have had some good times sitting on the couch watching some playoff baseball.

Of course, he makes it about 2 innings before he wants to have a light saber fight.

I say go for it. There is enough in between innings and such to keep him occupied. Make sure to buy him a footlong brat though and teach him the wave is for losers only.

Actually, it was just last summer when my (then) 14yo and I were out in the middle of the street having saber fights with pool noodles. It was after Ashley's accident and he was letting out the emotions he'd bottled up. I had a "noodle stripe" across my face for a day after he nailed me. LOL

The games in the concourse are a great distraction too.

Getting late. The Rays need to make something happen or they'll be "gone fishin" tomorrow.
