Alex Jones' Day of Reckoning is on its way!

I have a question for legal minds. Last night I was awake not able to sleep and my mind was racing. Long story short I was wondering why from a legal prospective Alex Jones is held responsible for his speech when groups like that Wacko church that protests funerals and other events speech isn't? There had to be a simple legal answer, was just wondering what the difference is?

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones cannot use his personal bankruptcy to escape paying at least $1.1 billion in defamation damages stemming from his repeated lies about the 2012 Sandy Hook elementary school massacre, a U.S. bankruptcy judge ruled Thursday.

Even bankruptcy cant save alex jones. It's good to know our courts have at least somewhat anticipated his tactics.
