He’s the most insecure president ever. That’s why he went on his show.I did. In my post above I said he should absolutely distance himself from Alex Jones. Was stupid anyway to go on his show but Trump is the most ZFG POTUS ever and truly doesn't care. Great business mind and understands what taxes and regulation do to the economy. Other than that he isn't much.
I honestly know very little about Jones, but if he's as despicable as people say, you're absolutely right. Trump should do more than distance himself, he should apologize. Doubtful that he will, and even more doubtful if he did that it would be sincere, but unfortunately, that seems par for the course in politics. It’s not that Trump validated AJ by being on his show it’s that he verbally did it. Trump should distance himself. He won’t. But no politician does.
The photo, taken in 2005, was kept hidden until 2018, so I'm not sure Fox had much of an orgasm over it. Guess it's possible they did, but seems kind of pointless after he left office.
Trump going on his show has zero to do with a ZFG attitude. Trump is a pathological, narcissistic snowflake liar. He went on his show to stroke his own ego and reach some of the more extreme Red Hats. Nothing more.I did. In my post above I said he should absolutely distance himself from Alex Jones. Every POTUS has been narcissistic and insecure. Trump is no different than others, it's just he won and some people can't stand it and hate all the good things he has done because he tweets mean/stupid things.
Agreed on the first part.IMO, the biggest difference between Trump and past Presidents is he's much more in your face with his obnoxiousness and arrogance. I think most Presidents have these qualities, but others did a much better job masking it. Make no mistake, Trump is an obnoxious jerk. Still not an impeachable offense.
Likely crimes? Other than attempting to obstruct justice, which still has to be proven, what crimes are we talking about? This is how I see it, I think he tried, whether knowing or unknowingly, to obstruct justice. I wouldn't say he succeeded. So yes, if you want to impeach him for that go ahead. The next question is does that warrant removal from office? I know that seems moot because we know a GOP controlled Congress will not convict him, but looking past that, does it warrant removal? The only precedent to go on is Clinton's impeachment, and he perjured himself and obstructed justice. He was not removed from office. So going on that, I'd say no, Trump's attempts to obstruct office do not warrant removal from office. That's taking any personal feelings out of it and looking at history for an example.Agreed on the first part.
People are calling for impeachment because of likely crimes he committed, not because he is a douche canoe.
Oh he absolutely knew what he was doing. You aren't surrounded by lawyers daily and accidentally commit obstruction, let alone multiple times. The multiple obstruction charges alone should probably warrant impeachment; I know if there was this much smoke with a Democratic president, the right would be foaming at the mouth. This isn't counting money laundering, conspiracy, fraud, and the other laundry list of likely things the Trump Family Crime Syndicate has been involved with the last few years. Not counting pre-POTUS, which hopefully he will face charges for after he is outside of the protection of the Oval Office.Likely crimes? What is amazing to me is how much the left hates him for acting exactly how their heroes like Clinton and Kennedy conducted themselves.Oh he absolutely knew what he was doing. Either way, impeachment isn't going to happen. NP isn't going to let it fly in the House, and it doesn't matter anyway because even if there was absolute proof, the Senate would vote against it. No need pursuing it further with the Republican controlled Senate.
I'd much rather him lose embarrassingly at the ballot box anyways. Then he can sit his ass in the WH from November 2020 to January 2021 knowing he failed.
You are correct he shouldn’t do anything now. If he wasn’t a grade A ass hat, he wouldn’t have gone on another grade A ass hats show, in the first place. But Trump loves to get slurped and have has his ring kissed. No matter who is doing it.Should distance himself? Why should he comment at all? Because he was on his show years ago??
Agree, but how is that different from other POTUS and most politicians in general. You are correct he shouldn’t do anything now. If he wasn’t a grade A ass hat, he wouldn’t have gone on another grade A ass hats show, in the first place. But Trump loves to get slurped and have has his ring kissed. No matter who is doing it.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.... lawyer.... Private server in clear violation of ComSec protocol....Oh he absolutely knew what he was doing. Should Hillary be in jail? What about Obama?Oh he absolutely knew what he was doing. You aren't surrounded by lawyers daily and accidentally commit obstruction, let alone multiple times. There are bat shite crazies on BOTH sides of the political divide in this country.. I wonder if Bette is still looking for her "shiv"?
IMO, we as a country have lost our moral compass and sense of personal responsibility. I think many individuals still have those things, but those folks aren't looking for their 15 minutes of fame and don't make for good media.
This country spent 8 years locked in a PC hell. The elections came up and the dam broke. Both sides resorted to insults and name calling, which still continues, and it emboldened those who had remained on the fringes to come center stage. Hillary with her deplorables, the media references to fly over areas of the country, discounting the population that lives there, and Trump with his SOP of bravado and hyperbole.
Anyone who didn't see this coming or is surprised by it has spent the last decade under a rock. Welcome to the new America.

Thankfully the left pounded it into everyone's brain that personal conduct doesnt matter as long as the economy is rolling.
