I like him. He gives lots of food for thought and since I started listening I no longer drink cow's milk and I only eat organic and local farming foods. Almond milk is so yummy! The only thing that should drink cow's milk is a calf...

Wouldn't this fit better in the Pub rather than Movies and Music?

Tex was just talking about you the other day. Your presence in the Endzone is required in the next few days...

not sure that's any better than Alex Jones' BS

Yeah, that site seems to say that AJ is correct in his conclusions but is incorrectly blaming bankers when he should be blaming Zionists/Jews.

Wouldn't this fit better in the Pub rather than Movies and Music?

Yeah, probably so, I wasn't really sure where to put it. Maybe the Politics forum would work too.

I think it would be difficult for anyone to buy into everthing AJ has to say. I suppose he throws a lot of stuff against the wall to see what sticks. However, he talks about some things that I believe have a lot of merit. For example:

- GMOs in your food. There's some fairly frightening information out there about GMOs. Many countries are now outlawing them, including Russia and France. Some of the lab studies on rats are downright frightening. I would consider this to be a real issue.

- Vaccines. He points out a lot of good information about vaccines. For example, (i) the occurence of all major diseases for which people are vaccinated dropped to very near modern levels before vaccines were ever used, (ii) in the event of an outbreak, those who are vaccinated still routinely contract the disease, and usually in larger numbers than those not vaccinated, (iii) almost all vaccines have routinely contained mercury (it's now removed from some, but still in others, such as the flu vaccine), (iv) vaccines do, in fact, kill or injure some people. What, then, is the point of vaccines?

- Government false flag operations. The government has admitted to at least proposing such operations in the past (see Operation Northwoods - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Is it so difficult to believe that they have done so in other cases?

Yes, he goes overboard on many things, but I think there are good things in there too, things that I don't really hear in any other forum.

My goodness. GMO and vaccines are bad things? Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Well, based solely on the responses in this thread, not many people seem to know or care. When was the last time anyone heard anything about the negative side of GMOs or vaccines in the mainstream media? Any mention of it and you're instantly labeled a fear mongerer and/or conspiracy theorist. Why is that?

Most people in the "mainstream" media and on VN don't have a background with these things; hence, they are more susceptible to crazy conspiracy theories. I have a have BCMB degree with deals with both. There is nothing wrong with either; both are overwhelmingly (net) positive.

That seems, at best, to be a matter of opinion.

If you want to get real philosophical, everything is subjective.

However, you would have to have some messed up values to believe GMO and vaccines are somehow evil or bad.
