It probably helps to stay nasty. Your system has to get used to it. I even read report that said it was good for a kid's immune system to eat boogers. I may have to add that to my daily regimen.
I'm good, thanks. I might take you up on staying in bed with your wife for 3 days though. Pictures of wife?Since my immune system is already pretty stout, I will save mine and mail them to you. Address?
(My wife on the other hand...someone can ride down the road with their window down and she is in bed for three days).
I haven't had the flu since spring 2006 and I got my first flu shot fall 2006. I'm a believer. If you don't take the shot and you don't get it, then you are lucky. The shot does not give you the flu.The last time I had the flu was about 15 years ago, a year in which I had a flu shot. (and it was a horrible bout) I have not had a flu shot since, and I have not had the flu since. Maybe a coincidence....but I'm going to ride it out.
I used to take flying lessons in 1990 but ran out of money. My next flight was my extended solo and just didnt have the funds. I was going to have to pay rental on the plane plus buy the gas and get reimbursed afterwards through Kalitta flying services. Anyhoo, I may have missed it, what do you currently fly?I'm trapped I an aluminum tube for 13 hours with people. I have antibodies for every cold germ imaginable, and they don't always work. I get at least 6 colds each year
I heard a story on NPR last year that basically backed up that theory. That there are beneficial bacteria in the dirt as well and the studies have shown that kids that spent more times outdoors got sick less and often had different flora (gut bacteria) than those that don’t.Hardly ever got sick as a kid and I was in and around cow manure and dirt daily. I think kids need to get dirty and exposed to germs young.
Currently on the A350, but in another couple of months I will probably be going back to the A330 or 767I used to take flying lessons in 1990 but ran out of money. Amazon is reconsidering opening part of its second headquarters in New York after fierce opposition from lawmakers, according to a new report.
The Washington Post, which is also owned by Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, reported the Seattle-based tech giant is reconsidering the plan and has not leased or purchased any office space for the project. The report cited two people familiar with the company's thinking.
“The question is whether it’s worth it if the politicians in New York don’t want the project, especially with how people in Virginia and Nashville have been so welcoming,” one person familiar with the company’s plans told the Post.
Speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not at liberty to discuss the plans publicly, the people said Amazon executives have had discussions inside the company to reassess the situation in New York and explore other locales.
Does LeBron James "deserve" to be 6'8'' with great athletic ability, and make hundreds of millions of dollars playing basketball (will almost surely be a billionaire before all is said and done)? No one deserves to be a billionaire. No one has worked that much harder. If I cured cancer, solved world hunger, and stopped all wars, I still wouldn't deserve that. Why? Because, wealth IS scarce, being off the gold standard didn't change that.
.
The same Fort Sanders doctor did a Whipple technique on another friend , now dead, and I think it was for practice...
...At least the doctors and hospitals made good money.
It just shows the stupidity of their lawmakers. Hopefully they just bring it on to Nashville. TN can use 2.5B in extra revenue per year.I'm sure Nashville would love to be reconsidered...
Amazon reconsidering NY HQ after fierce opposition: report
Sounds about par for the course. My (former) wound care surgeon at Fort Sanders, on St. Patrick's Day 2013, told the ER doctors at Tennova Jefferson City that he refused to accept my transport as I'd be dead from Septic Shock before I made it there; just keep me comfortable so I could say goodbye to my family. Four days prior, he told me my leg wasn't infected I just needed to keep it elevated more.
Every bill I got from his office for a few months was a reminder that I would have just been another dead patient whose family was sending him checks.
