every candidate pandered to their base. they all put on shows, lied during campaigns, and did any number of things that weren't issues before Trump.

Of course all lie but he completely made up a fake persona just to get elected. He's not anything the GOP claims to stand for yet they bought the show because they thought Hillary was going to jail and Mexico was buying us a wall. He was only able to do that because he didn't have any voting/policy history to look back on. I'm guessing he picks on Hillary a lot about that one

I know I am just speaking personally here, and stepping into whataboutism territory, but I found what Obama did vs said with ACA far far worse than anything Trump has done. and unlike the wall that hasn't really gone away from being an issue.

what bush did with the Patriot Act, not a campaign item certainly, was definitely the biggest overstep, and assault on the rights of Americans, of the government in my life time.

lying about who pays for a wall is pittance. Bush lied about a war or three.

I don't get where this double standard on Trump comes from. but I agree on Trump not being a "real" Republican.

What it actually "took to get him elected" was a bunch of Dems crossing over in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Blame them if you want to blame somebody. Trump "felt their pain." Your gal ignored them.

What about Trump fully repealing ACA? He never intended to which is why the opportunity got wasted. Has he eliminated the Patriot act, domestic spying, DHS, etc? Is he pulling our troops out of senseless conflicts? Putting us on the track to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy sources? Has he taken on the for profit policing and prison system? Cut the military budget?

Those are just a few of the things I want to see but have little faith in our elected officials to get it done. There are a few but they are vastly outnumbered

He, LG, and loother just look at everyone that voted for him as uninformed, uneducated, racist trash. The hypocrisy is what the last President was and who voted for him.

Lucky for him they’re (the dems) going to run a guy (Booker) against him who made up a racist story about a fictional black drug dealer.

And you apply lazy labels to anyone who might not like his policies. If people would stop treating politics like a team sport we may be able to move forward one day. They're not your teammates they're actually your opposition

No not really, I don’t like her policies. Higher taxes, mass destruction of property, mass redistribution of wealth. I don’t care who she is or if she is the biggest Ho on the hill, I don’t like what she represents. She is after reducing my standard of living to create the same standard for all except those making the rules. Don’t be petty PJ, it’s beneath you.

no way ACA is going away. thats the problem with the teat. no one is going to put their head on that block. would love to see it fixed, but I believe that is in Congress's hands, not Trumps. he doesn't legislate.

is he pulling out? yes, well I guess it depends on the day. but there have been draw downs in at least Syria. Afghanistan is one of those things where I have no clue why we are there, and no one touches it. every time Trump mentions pulling out the Democrats become war hawks.

I would think given the chance Trump would ok more nuclear plants which would go a long way to removing fossil fuels. and seeing as how fossil fuels was one of the things he ran on I have to at least give him credit for following thru on that, even if I don't like it.

I think there was some "adjustment" to our social justice system, I forget what it was because everyone agreed it was a good step. so without the fight I can't recall what was done. those you call "trumpers" were also on board for a complete overhaul of the system in single payer lawyers. i think that is the first thread you jumped in on and started shooting things down. so it seems your for profit aspect it up for some debate. I agree that it should go away (for profit prisons), but its just part of the whole.

I would say most of those things, except for fossil fuels, no one is really running on. so maybe your ire should go towards "Washington" instead of just Trump.

Maybe if you had called out 1 of the politicians that blocked his agenda you'd be taken a little more seriously. If repealing the ACA was so important to you where were your posts condemning McCain for his deciding vote or Ryan for not having a replacement ready to go on day 1 of any R presidency?

I don't think he ever made the foolish promise to replace fossil fuels.

So far two years in we are not into another senseless war or expanded existing wars, pretty good start compared to his predecessor.

His justice reform was pretty good legislation. I missed your applause on that one.

my issue is as I said before, the double standard. we see people freaking out in almost every thread on here about stuff Trump does, that has been done before and will be done again and is never mentioned, so much that it reeks of intellectual dishonesty. I am carrying over points from before but it amazes me that these things are an issue, when the same people were silent before.

at least throw in, every once and a while, that Trump is like any other politician in DC. or past presidents.

tell me what should upset me, someone who didn't vote for Trump, that he lied? what should upset me? Its so wide spread I would call lying as a candidate to be ubiquitous. so what about it should turn me against Trump specifically?

Paris accords were crap, and we as a nation have been more effective at meeting those goals than the nations who signed. even with anti-green Trump. why should that upset me?

I guess because he has yet to whip out a bigger blacker dildo to screw me with he gets a pass on what freaks out some on this board.
