Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Geezus, maybe you really are that dense.

Is every refuted argument citing actual evidence a whataboutisim to you?

Look, clearly, you didn't and still don't understand the argument. Instead of continuing to shine a light on the turd you left on the living room floor, walk away and in time people will forget you were here.
Not going to get off that easy Septic.

You have no problem using the whataboutism on others when it is used the same way you did or not. Like I said, it's not one when you do it, and your turds aren't turds, they are just fertilizing pellets. Call them what you will, they still stink and they come from the same place.

Now go back into the shadows and wait to jump out and belittle someone else, stir up the schit and then leave.

Would you agree that in order to imply or infer a whataboutisim there would have to be two parties that engaged in similar behavior where there is an attempt to justify one while attempting to demonize or excusing the other?

In this case, there's only one party.

You took a swing and missed, doubling down is your choice.

You're the one doubling down. I give you credit though, your deflection game is first rate.

Ever consider running for political office?

Lie as in trying to tell people the world will end in 12 years, or lie as in hire two black guys to jump me, then tell the world they were white maga racists?
I'm not worrying about it. It's probably 50/50 that the world will end for me in 12 years.

I'm not sure any of these are refutable, not yet.

I don't know about that one. I'm 72, and still wondering if I do or don't want to be around in 12 years (but still planning to be around regardless) ... this country is getting really weird ... going to hell in a hand basket might be stretching it a little, but I'll wait to see how the Dims do in their 2020 thing before deciding on that.

Probably 50/50. Both my parents made it past 90, and I have 21 years until then, but who knows? My brother died at 67 from colon cancer.

Sorry about your brother. My grandparents with one exception died in their 90s, and my parents in their late 80s. One great grandfather was in his 100s. It's enough to question which way our longevity is going; I'm thinking good old fashioned hard work and food just might be a lot better for us than things like automation and corn syrup instead of real sugar.

Read my last 2 posts in the 2020 Presidential thread and give me your thoughts. Thanks.

Actually I just posted a couple of things over there before seeing this. If you look at the last few presidential election maps by county, there are some blue blobs in a sea of mostly red, and the problem is that those blue blobs represent cities with populations that match and sometimes exceed the rest of a state. That conservative/liberal component is really troubling because it's not regional ... like South vs North or an east west thing.

We're begging for a split without a way to do it. It's like putting the entire country in a pressure cooker with no pop off valve on high and expecting nothing bad to happen. Even a real return to state's rights won't correct this mess; it really is a matter of time ... either one side capitulates or it's going to get very messy. Capitulation may happen as the older of us go away and the younger generation completely outnumbers us. I have a feeling that even the young not so hardcore liberals would be sickened to see what Mexico Norte would look like and by what they have to pay to maintain it.

I'd love my own S Pacific island, but that's not likely; your mountain property may work a lot better than wishful thinking. That picture on the left is from a pineapple field on Moorea by the way ... French Polynesia. Moorea is a short ferry ride from Tahiti.

You are probably right about capitulation. The majority of men over 40-45 would never.

All she did was scuttle a deal over lost tax revenue she was never going to get to pay for services she was never going to provide.

There are plenty of reasons to not like Amazon, but this wasn't one of them.
