Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Trump reality is personal profiteering, worsened foreign relations with allies and enemies, denegration of women, minorities and differently abled people, unpresidential remarks on twitter, flip-flopping decision making and lack of respect for the Constitution. I did not like W or Reagan that much, but at least they comported themselves like gentlemen and statesmen.

From what I've seen congress looks something like a herd of wild hogs intruding on a reasonably adult party ... the wild hogs being the Dims in case you don't understand. What you and others like you hate is that Trump likes to get down in the slop and waller ("wallow" if the common term around here hurts your elite sensitivities) with your guys. What you really hate is that he wins at mud wrestling..

I don’t throw crap against the wall , I stated facts ... less riots ( gave examples of where ) . Less exposure in the media for a radical group ( gave example of who ) , included the fact that I knew they were still an organization but seemed to have faded away from what they were doing . All you did was reply telling me they are still an organization and I need to keep up . Smh

You have to accept that libs consider them "demonstrations" and not "riots", and they don't accept that most civil disturbances can be (or at least should be) attributed to libs. Somehow the closest they can come to conservatives and riots is old examples of loony tunes types burning crosses and more recent ones burning tiki torches ... and "free speech" doesn't apply in either case according to flag and business burning libs.

What is short sighted about it?

And what is ironic?

Sorry DC maybe I didn't understand your response so can you clarify it. Was your response about a red hatter because you voted for Trump or was it a dig at AM? That will help me explain my response without totally misunderstanding yours.

Of course Barr is a puppet. Look no further than his media choices.

I honestly think Barr is mentally close to retirement where he does not care anymore. He's a total honey badger.

I wouldn't get ready for the retirement party just yet. Barr is likely the most underestimated person in DC, and he's likely to retire a lot more people before he decides he's through.

Oh definitely, it is definitely his last hurrah. I think he wants a legacy, but I also think he's going guns blazing.

Yep. Unless he has designs on a SC seat, there's not much left for Barr to work for when his time is up as AG. I think he'd make a good president - certainly not like any we've had lately, but I honestly don't get the impression that Barr would run for office ... he just doesn't have the extreme narcissism or arrogance necessary to drive him, which is exactly why I think he'd be a good president.

As we both know, it takes both narcissism and arrogance to become the president these days. I mean, I can summarize modern politics as two tribes throwing poop at each other.

Barr always seems to me like the adult in the room. Dems underestimate him at their peril; at least, the ones that have something to hide in this sordid affair i.e the Russia hoax.

Perspective is not your friend. You do not like whomever is the Republican President is at the time. Your words are of a person whose ideological prejudices and inability to harness the power of introspection blind you.

The President just so happens to be Trump right now so you hate him more. If Conservatives are fortunate enough to win the Presidency in the future you will hate just as much the person in charge at that time.

Do you know why? Liberalism. The innate deep lust for the next social conquest. It is a fungus that longs for more and more change for the good or bad of a country. There is a lot of good. These days there seems to be more bad with extremism and socialists the would've been unfathomable 20 years ago.

Not true. I liked Daddy Bush a lot. I did not hate W or Reagan. I also think Nixon was a excellent President. Trump is white trash with money.

Presidents don't mud wrestle - they have staff people and Congressional Leaders/Whips who do that. Besides, Trump runs from Congressional fights in person. He is afraid to confront people face to face and does all his fighting on Twitter, which is totally chicken $hit.

Barr is a shill who wants to hang on to his job. I cannot blame him for the latter part.

Exactly. And only an extreme narcissist can believe that he could run for office and his own importance would outweigh the skeletons in his closets ... and history shows that most of them have lots of skeletons in closets. I guess climbing to the top generally entails on backs of others (frequently far more able but less ambitious), backstabbing, character assassination (only character if your name isn't Clinton), and all those other predatory practices leading to the high body count found in closets.

I think we see the same thing but process it differently. Trump is naturally combative (trash with money does fit very well); sure others may do a lot of the dirty work (after all, isn't delegation what management is all about), but I think Trump gets down in the mud to direct what happens. Besides most of the DC mud wrestling is verbal anyway ... not nearly as interesting as the old days with canes or some modern day parliaments. Personally I'd like to legalize and bring back duels for politicians.

We all know how the right would have responded to Hillary.
That's why I try to believe that in the long run the Trump fiasco can actually have some benefits. Sort of like a forest fire.
We were destined to hit rock bottom and it's probably better that it's Trump taking the hit and the historical credit for bringing us to that low point.

HRC was already rock bottom. Petty, poor, childish loser. Trump didn't lead the way. In the end he may join them there. But, that remains to be seen. Hillary would have lost to a horny donkey in the election. No morals. no ethics. But, some pretty good hitmen.
