I can live with a win over the sooners.

Sooner rather than later would be good too.

I try to be realistic so I'm still saying a 6-6 season and back to a bowl game.

On gameday that goes right out the window and I always believe we can Win until the end of the 4th quarter and we have the least points.

Anything CAN happen on gameday and if you doubt that just ask South Carolina players or fans about our WIN against them last season when they were supposed to roll all over us.

The odds are against us but that's why we play the games.

Definitely Russia. Not sure about the Browns but only bc I would wonder about the Haslam connection. But for sure, Russia

We're a Browns feeder team now...

Serious question, what makes you so confident that we will upset them in Norman?

Everyone is making them out to be an NFL team playing college ball, if you watched any of their games besides the beating of "invincible" bama, you'd think otherwise. I watch about 3-4 games every Saturday during the season, Oklahoma being many of them. They are inconsistent as hell, and pulled off 4-5 wins that could very well have been losses to sub par teams. This would have put them in the toilet bowl with a strength of schedule that speaks for itself..

Agree with this but I feel better about UT's chances since seeing and hearing reports on Pearson, the other receivers, and the QB's. I have long thought the OL would be better than expected.

My doubts fall on the DL and Jancek. UT should be improved in the secondary and at LB through maturation and a greater number of talented players.

I would say that OU will be tempted to look at their first 4 games as clock punches (LT, Tulsa, UT, WVU, open). I would also say that UT has enough playmakers to make them pay for overlooking them if they do that.

UF will beat Georgi.. uh, Georgia Southern... uh, never mind.

the difference is a season like last year happens in gainesville and it becomes clear pretty quickly that there are problems and everyone needs to chill.

some of this fan base (i know not the majority) have seen season after season of this and it doesn't sink in.

a lot of smack was being run about oregon before last season and it has started (again for some) about oklahoma.

the words "tennessee" and "book it" are not a good combination. even when it comes to teams that can't beat georgia southern.

Unfortunately for UT (and fortunately for UF), UF has made very good hires in the past and can "nip it, nip it, nip it" when something ain't right. UT has been a trainwreck and is financially stuck due to their hires & contracts.

Muschamp's leash isn't very long and he knows it. Butch has a pretty long leash because UT couldn't make another move if they wanted to.

It would actually sound like a logical thought if one were to say "UT has a good shot and if we play well and things happen, we could pull off the upset". I could actually get behind that and agree, what makes the OP absolutely ridiculous is the "Book IT" and the reasoning behind it being because "They are inconsistent as hell, and pulled off 4-5 wins that could very well have been losses to sub par teams". What does that say about us in that we couldnt even qualify for a toilet bowl game?

Would kinda be similar to ole miss going to texas and beating them early last season coming off a great recruiting class after their new staff's first season. I know texas was struggling a little at the time but still.

Any sec team that goes on the road vs any other conf will usually get that teams best effort bc they wanna prove they can beat or play with a sec team. Oklahoma will be pumped to play us just like they were vs bama. I'm sure we'll be pumped up too trying to prove we're on the rise just like OM at texas last year. We'll definitely have a lot better chance to win at oklahoma than we did last year at oregon. We can do it.
