All things health: nutrition, exercise, etc

Here's a high-intensity interval workout I plan on starting next week. I think I'll do this twice a week and continue lifting weights 3x a week. I feel like I need to quit my moderate cardio, as I don't think it's helping me burn fat anymore.

That looks pretty intense. You're doing it right. You are lifting with your cardio. So many people make the mistake of only doing cardio, and 60 percent of the weight they lose doing that cardio is muscle mass.....which greatly hurts their metabolism.

In 2021, I only did moderate cardio. I lost lots of fat, but around November, I felt like I started losing muscle. My arms looked like they were getting smaller. So I knew I had to start weight training. I’ve gone from wearing size 38” pants to 32”, but I still have a little stubborn pouch of lower belly fat. Hopefully this routine will get rid of that in a couple of months.

Just did this workout for the first time. It was the perfect amount of challenge for me. I was exhausted and felt I couldn’t continue by cool down.

Saw this and had to try

Didn’t have cocoa nibs so used unsweetened cocoa powder. OMG, this was so good.

And yes @VolFaninFla , I had it at my moms place and she froze the banana and did everything, but it was my idea.

Where did you find this? I did the routine this afternoon.... Tough but great workout!

Anyone with experience using Bucked Up pre-workout supplement, or other beta alanine products?

I made the workout up, but don’t give me too much credit. I watched a lot of HiiT workout videos on youtube and just picked the exercises that I felt fit in with what I want to accomplish with my body. You can replace any of the exercises with something else like Russian twists, lunges, side plank, jump rope, full burpees, medicine ball slams, cross country skiing, etc.

I did this workout again today, and I was exhausted, but that was the idea!

A video discussing a large, five-survey which found taking 2,000 IU of D daily reduced odds of developing an autoimmune disease by 20%. Sadly too late for me.

Interesting. My mom has type II diabetes. She went quite a while without taking her treatment very seriously. It's a burdensome disease.
