All things STOCKS

I disagree. Give positive news on a vaccine. Say something about masks. Give a stimulus update. Talk about testing numbers and an under 1% death rate. All positives that could boost the market
I believe the last stimulus is what sent everything soaring. If SAVE, for example, ran from $7.01 to $25.xx....I’m locked and loaded again if we’re currently on the new “floor” at $16-17. I believe a run to $20-25 is easy with news.

I hate Greek shippers...but I was already in TOPS and grabbed some GLBS today after the dip.

Currently holding: EYES, GLBS, TOPS, SPAQ, INPX, ZOM, BIMI, SNSS

Out of INPX, SNSS, SPAQ, EYES, TOPS so far this week.
Added PACD, USWS, AND OAS earlier---small (1000 or less) looking for moves in oil/gas in the next couple of weeks.

Also ZOM just had two 500k buys go through...could be time.

A guy I follow alerted me to $CHNR. Got in and and SL's out with a 5% gain, but had up to 20% gains if I wouldn't have been greedy. Oh well, can't complain about gains. I'll take my 30$ profits and see what else we can find on Thursday/Friday for a weekend swing.

Still big into $NMTR and it's trying to clear .60. If it clears, it's gonna run for big gains. Already up 10% from my initial investment.

I agree. I also believe that's whh the stock market has seen record gains during this time. More people have more and are spending more. Also if the 2k travel stimulus gets approved that was being discussed then watch out

I'll take these 1 by 1

Vaccine- News will come from companies developing

Masks - Tweeted about it yesterday

Testing numbers - Already known

Death rate - Already known

Stimulus - Widely expected already. He could have positive tone for it but he could also take a more adversarial tone to certain aspects of it that might not be viewed favorably by the market.

There's a much better chance he says something stupid and continues to dig himself deeper in the race against Senile Joe than he is to drop a favorable bombshell.

ITRM is one of my large positions on an upswing. I'm at a 1.05 average. Price is up to 1.10 currently and pushing higher. This stock is criminally oversold. Could be a 40+% gainer.

****ing hell. I sold on Friday for 5% gains. Was gonna get back in today, when it dipped to 1.03 after open, but talked myself out of it. And of course it closes at 1.22 today.

The counterpoint could be that a stimulus is already largely built into many of the prices now and that a stimulus that is under projections could lead to a sell-off.

I think what caused things to soar after mid-to-late March was the amount of money in the market chasing after stocks that were mispriced due to panic....

Sentiment among those at UAL and the other airlines is high right now. UAL missed and are now +3%. I do believe SAVE will beat their projections and stay right around the current price. Vaccine news and guidance should take it up a bit. In my opinion, extremely safe play for the longs.

If another stimulus gets voted through the markets will jump with pleasure.

I think a stimulus is already partially priced in now. If you have a modest stimulus or one less directed at individuals, I dont think you'll have much favorable movement.
If that travel credit is in there, you can bet on these airlines blasting off. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a move to $30 for SAVE if that happened.

Agreed. As a LUV, LVS,WYNN,HLT, and MAR shareholder, I'm for this.

It's not gonna happen though. Dems wont agree since huge conflict of interest for DJT

If this is the earnings “crash” for the airlines....I feel sorry for the shorts. Because this feels like the floor..

Travel industry does not need bailing out. Corporate airlines, corporate lodging, corporate restaurants. If they have the balance sheets they should have they can borrow money. Many have done business by keeping no profits and borrowing funds. They should be allowed to fail.

If you want to give money away give a check to those that have made less than 50k+- per year. They will spend all of it locally and help the local economy, not tourist sites.

No, more likely they'll spend it all at once on stupid crap they don't actually need like TVs or cell phones at national retailers. Most of that money will just go to Walmart, who doesn't need it. That, or they'll buy a new car and help the car manufactures. Local businesses won't see much of it.

Tourist sites have locals, too....🤨

Bingo. They were bad with money before, and they’re even worse with free money.

I wish they would do something similar to a travel stimulus but with small businesses. Like say, if you keep receipts for purchases made at small businesses, you can get a tax credit for half your purchase up to $4k. I don't know how feasible that really is, or even how you qualify "small businesses", but I think that would be a major boost to the economy.
