Agreed. History should be taught, and yes it can be sticky.

I’m talking about “Social” learning. “Emotional” learning. Getting in touch with your feelings…. and most importantly, the feelz of others. Gtfo here with that nonsense.

💯 took our kids out two years ago. Great decision. Wish more families could do it. Hope we can keep it up,

I don't think all public schools are equal in many fronts. I've talked to several parents that are very happy with their moves into our system over the last year and a half. Moving from many different states or different systems in state.

My alma mater had a good reputation when I was there, but a lots changed in the last decade there. I hate to see it. Glad some places are still somewhat normal.

Schools have been working on that coddle fest psychologist **** since I was in late elementary school and the anti-bullying initiative hit hard. They banned us from playing contact sports at recess and made us talk to guidance counselors every time we got in a minor argument with anybody.

So don’t trust a guy who knew about sexual abuse to coach a football team but do trust a guy who knew about sexual abuse with other things way more important?

Biden/Harris administration & the media have made the Trump voters their enemy.
Biden/Harris only serve those citizens that voted for them. They don't treat the other citizens the same way as those on the left. Those on the right have become the enemy in this country. If someone disagrees with them & with their agenda they will treat you as a criminal even though no crime or law has been broken to warrant such hostile crap from your own government..

Knox county is the only system I've been in (so far) that doesn't have teachers advising other teachers against teaching towards their own biases

Teachers should teach facts, not opinions, but once you reach high school, a lot of teachers try to "shape your mind". At least that was my experience.

It’s the same crap that Obama was doing. They had those “see something, say something” videos that depicted all white males as potential terrorist, and they weaponize the IRS. They will come after everyone that doesn’t fall in line with their views.
