Allstate Sugar Bowl: #21 Louisville vs. #3 Florida, 8:30pm ET, ESPN

There's always a scapegoat when somebody commits suicide or flips out & kills others & themselves. It's either violence in movies, games, steroids, too many hits etc etc but never something that could be simply wrong in their head to begin with. It's never the previous history of depression, mental illness, or anything else.

Seau wanted his brain to be examined after he died bc he knew something wasn't right with him anymore and he thought it could have been due to all of the concussions he suffered.

Tell you what...we are extremely lucky that the Florida AD hired Muschump instead of Strong. I think we beat them in September. That game just exposed what we knew all along....they have no offense. If you hang with them on special teams, and minimize the big plays, Florida is probably middle of the pack in SEC.

Glad we didn't hire strong. He plays in such a weak conference

Yep coaches from the big east can't win in the SEC. Oh and recruits from Florida who don't recieve offers from the big 3 schools arent good enough to win in the SEC.....yet that Louisville team was full of said players.

The only people more unhappy this morning about last night's game than Florida fans are Tennessee fans, realizing what might have been.

Let me get this over with while I have a break in the action at work

1) Well, that sucked.
2) Outplayed.
3) Outcoached
4) mostly outcoached
5) too many stupid mistakes to comeback from
z) WTF was up with that OS Kick??

Things I have issues with, but not blaming the loss on them:

1) How the crap do they call TWO personal fouls on Florida on that OS Kick? I saw enough from both sides for that to be offsetting, and one player from each side ejected. Just because the fella from UL didnt land his sissy ass punch, doesnt mean he didnt attempt a swing.

2) Flagged for being in the white? Aside from getting out coached, muschamp has no idea how to handle refs. If he did, that call would never happen. But he doesnt, so it will.

d) anything that could go wrong for FL, went wrong. Anything that could go right for UL, went right.

Great game by Chuck and his team. He/They deserved that win, Im glad for Chuck.

I am still happy you guys lost bc I'm not into the whole rooting for SEC teams thing but what you said is still somewhat true for me. I am very happy with CBJ as I think he is a good coach and will do good things for us but CCS just proved just how great of a coach he is. I still can't understand why it took so long for someone to give him a shot as a head coach.

Dude...I work with about fifty Vols fans and they are all in an extra happy, happy, happy mood this morning. We love seeing the Gators get spanked. One guy was just telling me that it was actually 33-10 when Louisville emptied the bench. You need to learn from your gaytot-tot buddy Larry, and be quiet for a few days.

You nailed it Bill. One team was jacked up; and one team was just going thru the motions. That is indeed the coaching.

I hope Notre Dame can do that exact same thing against Bama

Gators finally got exposed last night. Took a few dozen players from Florida to do it.

Had you landed Strong, you might have had a shot at the same quality.

Oh, I see what you saying now. Butch beat Charlie two out of three so we'll be ok.

I said it last night in this thread...Louisville with 34 players from Florida...that is unreal. The Florida High School football systems is providing the star players for at least thirty BCS schools. With all that talent to choose from, the gators should win the SEC every year.

For some reason, Florida continues to struggle on offense. And I think it really comes down to a poor offensive line. Weird

So, we got the coach that beat him 2 of 3 and lost in OT on the third, and we somehow lost out in the bargain?

OK... :good!:

You seem a little *****ier this morning than usual, LG.. What's up?

Oh... Nevermind...

I wanted Chuck instead of Muschamp, and Im sure I could produce posts from here or other boards to support that. I wanted Mich St to hire him. I wanted UT to hire him.

The dude is a stud coach, stud recruiter, and an great person. He deserves anything good that comes to him in life, even if it means my Gators lost.

oh, and I think Butch Jones is going to a great job at UT. Also a great coach, and great guy. But nobody recruits like Chuck.

Yall will be in good hands with Coach Jones.

Florida is one of the dirtiest, undisciplined teams I have seen. They were too busy trash talking and celebrating after a play to win the game. They would jump up after a sack and pose meanwhile the scoreboard indicated they were getting taken to the woodshed. Ignorance at its finest.

I agree that the primary problem is a weak offensive line -- been saying that for two years or so. Also, we still don't have a drop back passer. Until you have that, you can't recruit in the wide receivers.

I'm okay with a scrambling QB, or one that is okay with running here and there. But that is not going to work for a whole season, too easy to read, and puts your personnel at risk for injury.

Florida hasn't had a decent drop back passer since Leak.

BCS wins are worthless!

It means more to the fans and to the universities.....The Florida players are disappointed they have to play Louisville in a bowl game and Louisville is jacked up to prove to the world they belong.

It means absolutely nothing as far as coaching or anything else....it is why I don't gamble on bowl games bc the better team may not come ready to play.... If this game was played in the regular season, I would have considered laying money on Florida to cover.

True! Leak was the last really good drop back passer. I will never understand why Brantly signed up to play in Urban's system. that was a bad fit from the start.

I haven't looked at their recruiting in the last couple of years, but it seemed Urban was always going north to get his offensive linemen. Heck, if you are at Florida, you don't even really have to leave the state for recruiting.

I hope muschump screws it up bad, but he will probably get it fixed. They did have a much better season than I ever expected.

This. Its hard as a Florida fan to be disappointed with an 11-2 record and a BCS game. The team far exceeded my expectations.

One of the more fun games to watch this season. What's scary is that Louisville got to 11 wins with one of the younger teams in the nation. Could be a legitimate Top 10 force next year with Bridgewater and 16 other returning starters.

absolutely. I have always sort of hoped that Muschamp would fail (couple 7 min seasons???) and in a year or so we would have cStrong.....but that isnt really the way I look at it week to week. I always want the W.

But I think DrisKILL is just a second slow in his decision making in the pocket. If you saw the Mich St -v- TCU game, Andrew Maxwell for MSU has the same problem. And the second string guy came in, pretty equal in talent, but makes that decision just a bit faster....and came back for the win.

Just a bit too slow with the decisions of when and where to throw.
