Allstate Sugar Bowl: #21 Louisville vs. #3 Florida, 8:30pm ET, ESPN

Odd meaningless stat: UF went undefeated on college campuses and winless in NFL stadiums.

Also, you can tell Muschamp has ties to UGA, because he has no idea how to manage high expectations. Both of our losses came against teams many "experts" picked us to win.

still baffled by the "in the white" penalty.

Did Muschamp just plain tick them off and they had to make **** up to penalize him. I know it is a rule, but it is NEVER called, on anyone.

That penalty was a lifetime achievement award.

Even more bizarre was Bostic's near 'roid rage on that official. He had the crazy eyes.

It means more to the fans and to the universities.....The Florida players are disappointed they have to play Louisville in a bowl game and Louisville is jacked up to prove to the world they belong.

It means absolutely nothing as far as coaching or anything else....it is why I don't gamble on bowl games bc the better team may not come ready to play.... If this game was played in the regular season, I would have considered laying money on Florida to cover.

You erroneously left coaches out of the former group. It means something to them, especially in their paycheck. And it's their responsibility to get their teams ready for a game.

Coaching was certainly on display last night.

Muschump will learn to tone it down as he gets older & more experience. The boy who cried wolf story is so true. When you start screaming at the refs about nothing in first quarter, they have long tuned you out by the fourth quarter when they really blow one. Catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

yes, that does make sense.

and Bostic, wtCrap? That attitude was a lot of the problem last night. It was not just him, it was half the stinking team. Crazy.

A fish rots from the head down. It is absolutely a coaching problem.

Well you can count Nick Saban in that group as well bc that is exactly what happened when they got blown out by Utah in their bowl game a few yrs ago. It is hard for any coach to get his team ready when the players are not fired up to play.

I hope bama shows up that flat again on Monday

I'm not making excuses......I was for Louisville and relish in their victory. I'm also for Notre Dame against Bama.....its just the reality of the bowl games.

Recap from a well-respected UF blog... :)

Whew...what a game. If you suffered through that entire debacle of a Sugar Bowl, hopefully you won't read this until the sun comes up tomorrow. Your eyes could use a break from UF's horrific uniforms. I've been walking into walls and tripping over s**t for the past two hours.

My favorite part of the game was UF defensive end Dominique Easley interrupting Teddy Bridgewater's post-game interview to shake his hand. It was the closest UF's defense got to Bridgewater since the 2nd quarter without committing a personal foul.

Also, it's clear Joker Phillips wasted little time putting his stamp on UF's football program. You could see subtle nuances in UF's passing game and offensive line play tonight that screamed Kentucky Football.

On an unrelated note, I'd be cool with Muhammad Ali not making public appearances anymore. He's the GREATEST OF ALL-TIME!! I don't want to remember him looking like he's got a mouthful of lemon juice, about to crap his pants at the 50 yard line.

Finally, in spite of bearing witness to the biggest upset in BCS history, I'm at peace with this latest chapter of Gator Football. We weren't supposed to be very good. We were better than expected. Everything that could have gone wrong tonight went wrong. We wore orange pants with blue jerseys people...it's obvious we didn't give a f***.

But life goes on, and there are much more important things than Charlie Strong making Will Musclecramp his b***h in front of a national television audience. And what fun would college football be without nights like tonight? Tennessee and Auburn fans need something to feel good about too.

Congratulations Louisville and Coach Strong. I ain't even mad.

well if it makes you feel better then that's a good article but still got yo a%$ chomped on National TV

I will say Muschamp needs to get a grip on your team because they looked like bitc& thugs

Yeah, I'm definitely not used to watching my team get beat down like that.

Perhaps you can tell me how you've dealt with it so well the last two seasons.

One coping mechanism is to mock teams.for being like a couple plays away from the title game.

Whatever works...although I'd rather mock Georgia in years where we actually beat them.

I'd grown accustomed to mocking them quite a bit up until a couple years ago.

Damn.

I'd be mad if I had taken time off work, paid gas or hotel/air fare and watched that sh*tfest. I've done that too many times and watched UT stink up the joint (mainly in the Chik-Fil-A bowl). I'd rather them just tell the fans they aren't interested in playing so we could save our money and time.

Agree 100%.

If I learned anything about UF this season, it's the fact that we haven't learned to perform with great expectations.

Our biggest wins came when everyone doubted us (TAMU, UT, LSU, SCarolina and FSU).
