AllState Sugar Bowl: #6 Ohio State vs. #8 Arkansas

Another year of being slapped around by an inferior opponent and landing in a BCS bowl well beneath what the team's talent level and pathetic schedule should otherwise warrant, only to barely escape an inferior opponent through a combination of corruption and hopelessly inept on-field play.

That's right....those drunken yahoos living it up on campus are the future of America.

dude it's a college. If anything those there are just using it as an excuse for an endless night of drinking and partying

I'm not gonna lie, it still trips me out that you follow wrestling Hat. No offense intended. It just does not seem like something you'd follow.

My experiences in Columbus. From talking to a whole lot of OSU fans, they see him as one of them.

Decent folk. Hardworking, farmer mentality. Respect others. And don't take too many risks or rock the boat too much.

What do you think?
I was referring to the coachspeak part of it. Not many people here will sound like that discussing a game.

The one tOSU fan I know is pretty pissed about the game, even with the win. He knows they were damn lucky not to get overrun by another SEC team.

Most of them recognize the atrocity of their second half performance, but no one is pissed, and why would they be with a Sugar Bowl win?

That being said, if Arkansas picks up the blocked punt and scores, this campus would be on fire right now.

I was just about to refer you to the 5:43 second piece of YouTube awesomeness simply titled "Ultimate Warrior." The comments by Jericho, Edge, and Christian are classic.

Just watched it.

Wow he's just...wow, I don't think I could do him proper justice with my words.

I was chuckling pretty much through all of that, but when he got himself turned around and still kept going on - to the back, to the side, to everywhere but the camera - I just lost it.....I can't help but wonder if he even understood what he was saying all the time.

Thanks on that one hat.

If there is one quality which absolutely does not describe most of the OSU fans I've had the misfortune of running into over the last 20 years or so, it's "respect others."

tOSU played players that should have been declared ineligible. Ohio State and Auburn are the only teams in the FBS that are allowed to have players that receive extra benefits.

They should have been ruled ineligible because they sold their own belongings?

They should have been ruled ineligible because Ohio State agreed to play by NCAA rules when they joined the NCAA. The argument is not whether the rule is stupid, the argument is that they broke a rule that they knew existed. Whether the rule is fair or not is inconsequential.

In this case cleary the NCAA is saying money is more important than the rules. So the players were not ruled ineligible. Which means that they didn't cheat.
