From someone who used to live in Charleston, SC (me):

South Carolina = Carolina
North Carolina = North Carolina

supposedly Reaves showed him an article about the large percentage of guys that transfer out of USC after 2 years due to homesickness. it had a big effect.

I would believe it...

To me (lived in North Carolina 25 of my 28 years), Carolina=UNC. Though I hate the Heels, they are the only deserving team to be called "Carolina."

Nationally Carolina equals North Carolina. Nationally, USC means Southern Cal. Sorry Cocks. I lived in S. Carolina for a year and got into many arguments about the USC acronym.

Unfortunately, UT means Texas nationally. I don't mind going by our full name though.

I have friends who went the USCw and they call it 'SC so that is legit, but no one out of S. Carolina calls the Cocks, USC. That is reserved for Southern Cal.

Either way, who cares. It's all about opinion.

Agreed. I hope we land him. He would be a great addition especially if we can get Nu'Keese too.

anything with him commenting on his visit?

I read comments from his coach stating the visit to USCjr was good but that he would not conduct any more interviews until nsd.... I'm sure the resident Cocks will inform us on any pro USCjr comments.

this should not be. Tennessee has been around longer and if it wasnt for a native Tennessean (Davy Crockett) texas might still be a part of mexico and there would be no university of texas. university of texas should be UTX, Tennessee is the real UT.

I can assure you, UT means Texas everywhere outside of Tennessee.

Having too many recievers is not a problem. And we don't even have them yet. I think we'd be lucky to get 1 of the current 4 star recievers were recruiting
