Amateur Hour Continues

Funny, hill is a conservative. Making false statements about anyone that sees Trump for what he is is desperation.

Are both not a problem?
Why is this an either/or situation?

it’s ******** regardless of your political affiliation.
It’s almost like there’s no difference in the 2 parties.

almost like there's no difference?

The other side of a turd is just as stinky.

Free trade is a one way street in Huff world. Duty free imports of goods and illegal immigrants.

Trump is making trade less free and he's not doing it for the sake of future trade agreements that are better in terms of freedom. You can stop fooling yourself into that BS fantasy. All you have to do is look at the USMCA to see that freer trade is not a goal, let alone the priority.

My point is there is and never has been "free trade" reciprocity. The Chinese had high tariffs on US imports before Trump took over and the US had minimal tariffs as well. Trump is using the higher tariffs as a temporary tool to balance the field and address other issues.

MAGA Free Trade = buying from whom the government says you should buy from

The Chinese know they're temporary, they don't have to wait out the tariffs - just trump.

I can agree with that to a point. If he wins another term it certainly becomes problematic as supply chains are already shifting from my understanding. I believe the Chinese have already stated a goal to be 100% self reliant. If anybody can accomplish such a goal in 5 years it is the Chinese.

You think they can wait another 5 years? I don't. But if Trump is defeated, they will win big because the Dimwits are spineless and will cave at the first chest puff from the Chinese. Guess what happens next.

Cool. When we say we want free trade, we're not saying we expect 100% free trade reciprocity. Nobody on our side will ever offer it, so of course no one else will reciprocate and you can stop pointing the finger at China as if they are the only ones protecting when everybody, including us, does it. And we're warring with tons of countries, not just China.

Free trade reciprocity will never happen and we don't hold anyone to that standard and you shouldn't pretend that what we're holding our breath for that. We'd be happy with "freer" trade and we're unhappy with the diminished freedom that Trump's brought about.

How's that trade deficit looking?

You can debate the merits, but Trump is a protectionist, not a free trader.
Sometimes you have to tear down a little of the structure to rebuild it correctly. Supposedly, the Chinese are losing businesses to other countries. They can't afford that for very long. I highly doubt they can afford it for 5 years. But since you brought it up.. how do you feel about the ExIm bank?

Their economy can’t take 5 more years of tariffs, Trump has already won this.
Exactly. Their entire system is a fraud. I just hope the American public sees this.. and the Dimwits for what they are and doesn't go potato next November. We can hurt the Chinese and rid our country of the Dimwit cancer at the same time.
