I will never recognize him as president but you enjoy comrade
Obviously you are mistaking a bunch of us for people who give one rip about your opinion. You’re opinion is irrelevant. Talk to the judges in about 60 cases if you don’t believe it. End of discussion.

Yet you communists still comment. I don’t ask your opinion on your boy cheating

At least they were familiar with the subject matter. But I'm sure Pete has a drivers license to he's qualified to run the transportation dept.

The excuses some will make to justify Donnys reign as lizard king of the swamp. I dont recall y'all complaining when trump installed Rick Perry or Betsy Devos.

The claim could be made that DeVos and Perry had relevant experience. What does mayor Pete know about the infrastructure needs of Bangor, ME?

A 'claim' could be made that if Betsy had two wheels she'd be a motorcycle.

I'm just saying the pearl clutching over Biden's unqualified picks rings a bit hollow given Perry leading an agency that grew 20% over the last four years despite the promise it was going to be eliminated.

What does 'qualified' even mean? Pete is 'qualified' or else he won't get the job. I think that bar is pretty low. The issue is competence. I don't think he will be competent by a long shot as he has no resume in this arena. As I said before, Ill bet he wouldn't know a 757 from an F15. He certainly wouldn't know the differences between Airbus and Boeing

Lol at the mental back alley grift like gymnastics trying to prop up Pedo Joe.

LOL at it suddenly mattering.

I'm not saying you approved of it when your boy was doing it, but it certainly wasn't a deal breaker.

How did I know you'd respond to my comment not specifically targeted at any one person. Shocking.

It was the #PedoJoe part that really hooked ya wasn't it?

But it doesn't matter, except to you obviously.

You didn't but you felt like you needed something clever to say while not having to acknowledge or reply to what I said.

Regarding your obsession with the whole 'pedo' angle, you guys kind of remind me of the preachers who go out of their way to bash homo's only to later be picked up for soliciting dudes for prostitution.

Any claim that Rick Perry had relevant experience to the Department of Energy is a false one. In terms of his education, he graduated from Texas A&M in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. Perry then became a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. Perry was trained as a pilot. His duties would later include rotations in England and Germany. After leaving the Air Force in 1977, he returned to Texas and went into farming cotton with his father. Perry first ran for a seat in the Texas House of Representatives in 1984. From that point forward, he was a career politician.

Here is a (very) brief bio on the 3 people who preceded Rick Perry as the Secretary of Energy:

Ernest Moniz (2013-2017): He was a nuclear science physicist, who had worked in the Department of Energy and had federal science oversight.

Stephen Chu (2009-2013): He was a physicist who holds a Nobel Prize in physics for his work on cooling and trapping atoms with laser light. Before taking office, he was a professor at Cal.

Samuel Bodman (2005-2009): He has a PhD in chemical engineering from MIT. He had served as a professor and departmental director at the university as well.

... Rick Perry had also called for the elimination of the Department of Energy during a Republican Party Primary debate in 2011, after (memorably) not being able to remember the name of the department at first.

To be fair Rick Perry has seen pictures of oil derricks and pumpjacks from the highway while he was driving by.

Point taken. But what you seem to be saying is that Mayor Pete is even less qualified to be SecTrans.

I don't think anyone is making the argument that Pete is even remotely qualified, he's not. He shouldn't be considered...

It's just comical that this is suddenly a deal breaker and a source of pearl clutching from folks who didn't bat an eye at folks like Betsy Devos and Rick Perry getting tapped.

Gas is fairly cheap and the education system is still a basket case. I’m not defending Trump or his cabinet picks, but there are worse outcomes.

Of course Pete is qualified. Saves hiring a decorating firm for the White House.
