American Chopper....Senior Vs. Junior

I'm not the one who even began an argument. I stated that I believed that James is the better builder in the traditional sense of the word but that Junior is a superior designer and builder in the sense of his bikes' creativity and design and that's what wins build-offs...

You're right, so... Cartervol...

I guess it's all in taste. I don't get into Choppers but PJD's bike was the best. The gas tank sucked though. Too big and bulky for that bike.

Jesse came off as a douche through the whole thing. He's probably the most skilled of the 3, he just lacks imagination.

Through_the_T agreed with you and is now throwing you under the bus... So, what is it? Jesse the "better bike" builder?

Or just the better metal bender?

The all knowing answer is based on your answer...

Haha throwing him under the bus. Wtf? What I stated in the quoted part was what I said in the original post.

There's no use in keeping this thing going. In your own words, "peace."

DrunkJohnny is a bad influence...

(would it be homo for me to post the heart symbol?)

<3

That was a little homo. Especially how you didn't post no homo after it.

I'm calling your manhood into question.

So Juniors bikes are better but Jesse James is a better bike builder? Seems like you're just arguing semantics for the sake of arguing.

Is Jesse James the best bike builder in the history of the planet, because he knows how to blacksmith?

I never really understood the point of this whole show to begin with seeing as they don't really even do the same thing. Anyone who has seen JJ specials before knew he was going to make a bike that would actually be for riding and talk about how awesome he is for making everything by hand (which is damn impressive, by the way).

And anyone who watches the regular show knew that PJD was going to make a piece of art in the form of a bike. Pretty to look at, not for riding. I like him and am continually blown away by some of the work they do but he just looked pathetic arguing the difference between 3/4 of a gallon of gas and a full gallon and arguing between being able to go 20 miles instead of 10.

I don't know what are you into? I personally don't like theme bikes. That's where James got the cake dresser dig from. I kind of see his point. A lot of the OCC bikes looked like something out of a inspector gadget cartoon.

PJD's bikes look better, but honestly i wouldn't buy any of them. Give me a street bike, i'd be happy with that.

Yea, but he didn't. That bike isn't a rider. It looks uncomfortable as hell.

For who? You? Or him?

I heard others say the same thing but immediately thought of the Sturgis Special bike that he rode all the way up there from LA

When he was on the new one his riding position looked pretty similar to his Sturgis bike, that one seemed to work out for him just fine.

Did look comical when the host sat on it though.

I mean, he couldn't even see over the handle bars. He was constantly looking around them to see the road.

I've watched James's show when it still aired and juniors.
I prefer James's show and bikes. It was more about metal work and welding and fabricating. Junior was more flash. I like mor of the stripped down bikes, which is more what Junior's new designs look like, but his bikes aren't as practical to ride as James's. Plus Junior wasn't as good of a mechanic as Vinnie.

I think it was his sarcastic way of saying that its never been a secret that the bikes are for show only. They've never tried to pass the bikes off as daily drivers, they make it clear that they're theme bikes built as show pieces for companies requesting them.

Paul Jr. is capable of building a durable bike if it were called for. It's no different than GM or Ford rolling out concept cars for car shows that will never see production.

The biker build off shows they had a few years ago were interesting.
I thought their bikes were more impressive then JJ or PJD or OCC.

Anyone still watching?

The bikes are awesome from both father and son with junior now the unmatched master at the top of his game.

Senior and junior are on the mends with Mikey nowhere to be found after having said his goodbye's last year.

The show still grabs ya.....

I still watch occasionally. I don't like most of the bikes now, they're too extreme for me I guess. They too much on them, I liked when they did stylish, rideable bikes.

i've been watching, glad sr and jr are doing a project with each other.maybe they'll finally put their hard feelings toward each other away.they should never have any buisness dealings.i'm glad for jr though,if anything their split helped him.he's building some badarse bikes.
