I think J-Lo had a good point when she said there wasn't always a lot to be critical about. Not that they're perfect, but I think they (judges) did a much better job evaluating the talent this year.

I tend to think they fall all over Casey cause they saved him. I think he's good, but I don't think he's the best. I think they probably regretted it after Pia was gone.

They must have felt the same before or they wouldn't have saved him.

I personally think Casey is more marketable to a broader audience than Pia (who I also liked).

But hey, I'm not a Gaga fan either. What do I know? :)

Interesting thing about different musical tastes...some styles/genres that I couldn't stand when I was younger, I really enjoy now. It's great because there's always something "new" to discover.

Agree with this. I liked Pia but she had a very limited audience based on how she limited herself with her song choice... ballad after ballad after ballad. I don't think I could sit through one of her concerts.

Casey, on the other hand, I could listen to for a long time. Good singer, good musician, and good performer (as long as he doesn't over do it).

Jacob needs to go - I can't stand the obvious eye make up and lipstick. He's a DUDE for cryin out loud.

Durbin needs to go bye-bye - I'm a big fan of rock but he annoys me. For the love of all that is Holy, stop the screaming on EVERY song.
