What a weird night! I thought these guys would rage on the love songs, but alas....

Here's my list, from best to worst.

1) Chris -- the show is really pimping him to win, and he did not disappoint
2) Elliott -- the dark horse to win it all -- love to hear him sing, but would prefer not to watch
3) Paris -- all I could think last night was how much she looked and sound like Gladys Knight, but she annoys me
4) Taylor -- my man...you know I love you, but you ruined one of my favorite songs...ever.
5) Katherine -- when will these chicks realize they can't sing Whitney Houston's songs!!!!!!!!
6) Kellie -- wow -- just when I thought you couldn't get any worse....you sucked.

Regardless, I truly believe that Paris is going home.

Ok, here's mine:

1- Chris.......good as always
2- Taylor......just love the guy!
3- Kat....... i think shes great no matter what she sings
4- Elliott.......hes good but I didnt think it was good enough for Paula to cry! LOL
5- Kellie....... shes ok
6- Paris............bye bye


The judges were a little harsh though werent they??? And Paula was really high tonight!!!! :p

This has been the worst year musically ever (as far as song choices go). I cannot decide if they are all mediocre vocalists, and that no one is standing out, or if they are all great singers. Personally think the talent pool runs deeper this year than in years past.

If Kelly stays in it will be a miracle.

I will stand by my initial assesment. Kat and Elliott are the best vocalist. Chris is the best performer. I say Paris leaves tonight followed by Kelly then Elliott. Chris, my man Taylor and Kat are your top three! Then it comes down to star power!

Oh well, Kellie would have been in better shape if her two worst performances hadn't been back to back. I still think Paris should have gone before Kellie. Chris was impressive, he didn't need the show to do any thing special for him. McPhee should get the Babe votes now, which she may need against Chris and Taylor.

I'm not sure who I want to go next. I'm not too fond of Katherine either. She is too full of herself. I'm guessing that Paris will go next.

I want Chris to win it all. It will probably be between him and Katherine in the end.

I am in the Taylor Hicks crowd for the wrong reason. He is least likely to get the exposure that Chris, Elliott, or Katherine will receive unless he wins it all.

Paris is finally gone...about 2 or 3 weeks after she should have. I never did connect with her. I wasn't surprised that Elliot was in the bottom two either but that doesn't mean he'll go next week. The final four are all good enough that it will really depend on what type of music they have to sing and if they can pull it off.

And another thing, is it my imagination or is McPhee showing more cleavage now than at the beginning? :clapping:

I agree. Im happy to see Paris go. She was good but really did nothing for me!! Anyway, I think Elliott will go next week then I am at a loss. I think I know how it will go but I love all 3 so I dont want to choose.

And yes, she is showing more lately.

Kat had a bad night but singing Elvis songs was't exactly a great choice for the lone Girl. They kept going on and on about Elliot but he does nothing for me and he sure doesn't look like an American Idol and that will come into play eventually. They all can sing and will not have to worry about regular jobs for awhile yet.

Perhaps it is just me, but I think this pales in comparison to last year. Last year's show seemed to have a lot more emotion.

This year to me is just average............. :boredom:

AND. . . . . .that about does it. I am officially done with American Idol. What a travesty. Chris is the most "American Idol" the show has ever seen.

It doesn't really matter. He'll be FAR more successful that whichever of the other 3 goofs happens to "win."

I called it last night while I was watching.

I told my wife. THIS is the week that the favorite is the most vulnerable.

If this week, the person needing to do the best to survive (Elliot) does, (and he did), then the favorite is gonna go.

Sure enough.
