Israel/palestine is a huge fracking mess. I'm 'supposed' to support Israel because that's what I am told by big brother - but I just dont know.

No. But sending a virus to intentionally destroy equipment or dropping bombs among innocent civilians to kill one person is, IMO.

Given that her enemies launch uncontrollable rockets into Israel without any concern for civilian life, is it unreasonable that Israel doesn't hold back on killing her enemies even though they are hiding amongst civilians?

and strapping bomb-vests onto Down's Syndrome sufferers and sending them into an Israeli marketplace for the sole purpose of killing civilians is......what exactly?

Sending a virus to take out equipment that is intended to produce material for a nuclear weapon by a non-nuclear weapon state is not terrorism.

Your second example is murkier territory, and is subject to debate on the definition of terrorism. Why is the one targeted? Were the civilians considered an unfortunate circumstance or were their deaths considered to be a positive accomplishment toward obtaining some end?

Terrorism. But I could never or will never argue that Hamas or the like are not terrorists.

I highly doubt that they're considered unfortunate circumstances or positive accomplishments, probably somewhere in between. A necessary evil, maybe.

I hope you will agree that Stuxnet is a serious stretch (as in ridiculous) as an example of terrorism.

Yes. Just so happened to be the first thing that popped in my head. More like an undercover operation than terrorism, I guess. Still sketchy.
