Dear Wayne,

Let me start out by saying I'm a fan of yours. While you occasionally do something utterly maddening, like chasing your headband instead of a rebound last year against Belmont, you seem to be a genuinely good soul who has the talent to make a whole lot of money playing the game you love. However, you're now on the clock. After talking to several NBA scouts this weekend, I can say with all seriousness that it is now or never for your draft prospects. People making the personnel decisions in the League want to see the guy who gave Cole Aldrich all he wanted last year and has pretty much had his way with A.J. Ogilvy. They want to see the sound post game you possess on both ends. They, however, are not interested in watching you try to convince everyone you are the African American Matt Bullard. There is a whole bunch of money to be made within 10 feet of the basket for you. I, for one, think you can do it. Wearing out Pierre Henderson-Overweight would be a nice start. You have the talent and post moves to foul him out in about 15 minutes. Go do it. Then, tear Chris Braswell up and get ready for Round 2 with Aldrich. The time to turn it on is at hand. Go get 'em, Big Fella.

Sincerely,

Hatvol96

I love Wayne. I would love to see him do well. Here's hoping he does what he needs to.

It's all a matter of how many touches he gets in the post. So far, it's looking like our coaching staff wants to go away from that...for some reason. If we just play more of an inside-out game, our offense would improve tremendously. It can and should all start with Chism on the offensive end.

If Pierre Biggerthanthe-Niles doesn't foul out then Wayne has not done his job.

Agreed Hat, I've been trying to convince people all along that Wayne had the talents to be a force in the post while others said he could only make it as a shooter or playing the 3.

maybe some of u guys have some connections at invisible fence and they can come up with a collar that shocks wayne every time he steps out of the paint if they arent in transition. its maddening to watch him run from three point line to three point line.

For some reason it just won't be the same not seeing Wayne with his headband assembled awkwardly on his large skull next year. It will be hard imagining UT basketball without his presence.

Weezy is out of breath. that alone will keep him from being high draft pick and everything you say is correct if he wants to sniff draft at all!
