Dear Wayne,
Let me start out by saying I'm a fan of yours. While you occasionally do something utterly maddening, like chasing your headband instead of a rebound last year against Belmont, you seem to be a genuinely good soul who has the talent to make a whole lot of money playing the game you love. However, you're now on the clock. After talking to several NBA scouts this weekend, I can say with all seriousness that it is now or never for your draft prospects. People making the personnel decisions in the League want to see the guy who gave Cole Aldrich all he wanted last year and has pretty much had his way with A.J. Ogilvy. They want to see the sound post game you possess on both ends. They, however, are not interested in watching you try to convince everyone you are the African American Matt Bullard. There is a whole bunch of money to be made within 10 feet of the basket for you. I, for one, think you can do it. Wearing out Pierre Henderson-Overweight would be a nice start. You have the talent and post moves to foul him out in about 15 minutes. Go do it. Then, tear Chris Braswell up and get ready for Round 2 with Aldrich. The time to turn it on is at hand. Go get 'em, Big Fella.
Sincerely,
Hatvol96
Chism does not have a chance at an NBA career. He has a three body but has not been developed to be a 3 in the NBA. Putting AJ Ogilvy in his place means nothing. He won't be an NBA prospect either. You keep saying post moves? Why? Post moves will do nothing for his NBA career. Ball handling, 3 point shooting, and the ability to knock down jumpers and put the ball on the floor are what NBA scouts would look for. Hat, I think you just showed this board you don't know much of anything.

Yeah, I bet you are in constant contact with NBA scouts. Your posts today have shown you to be a true intellectual powerhouse.Chism does not have a chance at an NBA career. You now occupy a special spot in the pantheon of senseless VolNation basketball forum posters.
Your shrill Chicken Little act wasn't enough, so you topped it off with this little doozy that removed all doubt. Congrats on your ascendancy (or descendancy, depending on your perspective).
On a UK website that I frequent, a certain poster had a long extensive conversation with a Suns scout. Chism and Smith were brought into the conversation. Chism will NEVER be a post player in the NBA. He has an NBA three body. Smith will NEVER be an NBA 3. He has an NBA 2 body. Problem is, Tennessee's sorry excuse for a coach has done nothing for chism's NBA prospect status. Smith still can't shoot, and is very limited in terms of what a 2 can do in the NBA. Sorry, but a Vol fan should never comment on basketball. It makes you look very stupid.
You clearly have no idea who you're talking to, or what you're talking about.
I had no idea that a 6'9", 250 pounds was not suitable to be a post player in the NBA. That is just astounding...you should really consider what you said, except think about the fact that you should never really comment on basketball because it makes you look very foolish. "I heard from a complete stranger, who posts on a Kentucky board that was talking about UT and has no connections to anything UT and was probably lying, was supposedly talking to a Suns scout(who scouts for a team that has no idea how to scout post players) and told me all this and I took it as the Gospel. Hallelujah"
