Anarchy In Portland

12M HCl will do the trick.
There's another trick one can do with strong acids, and this is one the antifas would approve. You don't even need a meth lab, just a stirred flask, a cooling bath, an immersion thermometer and a couple other pieces of common glassware; 67% nitric and 98% sulfuric mixed in the right ratio to make your "mixed acid" for nitration; and an aromatic hydrocarbon such as benzene... or toluene... put 3 nitros on that ring and you got yourself a better cocktail.

Do you all ever read the threads or just post and leave? The exact same thing gets posted over and over by the same few posters. It's pretty annoying

What's annoying is you complaining about other people being annoying. Who cares what gets posted? If you don't like it don't read it and comment on it. I'm thinking that hard drive space is fairly cheap these days and a few kilobytes won't even move the needle on a server.

Ironic....

Guy just spams the board with cartoons and articles without reading or participating. He's often days behind posting info that's already here. It's annoying and "if you don't like it don't read it and comment on it"

Well you are a moderator, you could just delete his posts.

I said annoying and useless not rule breaking. I'm a poster commenting on a thread. It's how this whole thing works

Calm your nipples, Captain Mod Squad. If you want to see annoying and useless, take a long look in the mirror.

Oh... I'm also a poster commenting on a thread. See how that works? Enjoy the night.

Oregon woman holds suspected arsonist at gunpoint as wildfires rage

An Oregon woman forced a suspected arsonist to the ground at gunpoint after she found him on her property with matches, dramatic video footage shows.

“What are you doing on my property? Did you light anything on fire?” Kat Cast shouts as she clutches a firearm, according to footage she posted on Facebook.

When the unidentified man responds that he was “just passing through,” she demands to know why he’s holding matches.

“I smoke,” he replies — to which Cast asks to see his cigarettes. The man then admits that he has none, and she holds him there until police arrive and haul him away in handcuffs.

If only their hand been no gun! Think of it, that man peacefully burning down a few more hundred acres of forest, that woman joyously losing her home. Should have just been the victim, right @evillawyer ?
But evil guns got in the way and this to be arsonist gets his life ruined while the non victim gets to keep her way of life for a while longer. Such as shame.

Two Portland Protesters Arrested, Released for the Fourth Time

Two Portland protesters arrested as a result of the demonstrations on Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning are serial offenders, who were ultimately released for the fourth time.

Roughly six dozen demonstrators marched to the Penumbra Kelly Building, blocking traffic and failing to adhere to the authorities’ warnings against entering the property, resulting in arrests:

Arrestees included Simona Andrea Arteaga, 39, and Tracy Lynn Molina, 47, both of whom are serial offenders.

Arteaga faces charges of interfering with a peace officer and trespassing, while Molina faces charges of resisting arrest, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and interfering with a peace officer. Both were released for the fourth time, according to journalist Andy Ngo:

Laura Sutton, 33, was also arrested for interfering with a peace officer, per police.

Additionally, police announced on Wednesday that two participants of the protest in Portland were involved in a shooting:
On September 22, 2020, at approximately 10:30 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the 4400 block of Northeast Glisan Street on reports of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and learned there had been a physical altercation between two subjects. The altercation led one of the subjects to fire a gun towards the other subject. The subject was struck by gunfire and subsequently a business was hit with gunfire as well. Both subjects were transported to an area hospital by ambulance. Both subjects sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Prior to this incident, both subjects were participants in a group that gathered at Laurelhurst Park and marched to the Penumbra Kelly Building located in the 4700 block of East Burnside Street.
