Evil genius....There's another trick one can do with strong acids, and this is one the antifas would approve. You don't even need a meth lab, just a stirred flask, a cooling bath, an immersion thermometer and a couple other pieces of common glassware; 67% nitric and 98% sulfuric mixed in the right ratio to make your "mixed acid" for nitration; and an aromatic hydrocarbon such as benzene... or toluene... put 3 nitros on that ring and you got yourself a better cocktail.
Actually was just doing my job, keep in mind this was 40 years ago. And being of a curious nature and into internal combustion, I decided to see what would happen if I added a bit of dinitro aromatic to the gas on my motorcycle. It did seem to boost the octane. Also turned the header pipes cherry red!Evil genius....

It's impossible to tell sometimes, especially with newer posters or those that don't post often.Seriously? Check your batteries.

Big supporter of dictators who violently kill Innocents? Or do you believe that if socialism just gets one more chance it will work on the 5,694th try?
You know Mao was a poet when he wasn't busy committing genocide. He wrote it all on a some kind of parchment. That scroll was stolen from a museum last week where it was housed. Estimated value 300k. The thieves sold it for 80$ and the purchaser, for the sake of space and because he thought it was fake split it in 2 for storage. Historians were seriously upset over this in NPR today.Mao and Che... such great humanitarians.
It’s history, therefore I hate to see it damaged or destroyed. You know Mao was a poet when he wasn't busy committing genocide. He wrote it all on a some kind of parchment.
