When it first came up I looked around for any other source claiming any of them were teachers and I couldn't find anything to corroborate.

There is certainly some embellishing going on, but there is the Teachers Against Tyrants org. which is undeniably involved in some aspect of protests or riots. Who knows. But anyways this was years ago.
