His speaking out won’t do anything. The left won’t listen to anything he says even if it’s a positive message. The people that should be condemning the violence are the Democrat party leaders. They haven’t because antifa and BLM are doing their bidding.

I disagree and agree . It’s just the fringe elements finally coming together which could be simply stopped or severely curtailed by the local and state governments but they are choosing to let it go on . Trump does need to try and open up the pressure valve some and let some of the steam out of the cooker . These are Democrats controlling these states again and it’s a bad look on them not to stop the madness ( see Georgia / Atlanta) for an example of how quickly it can be contained when the governor chooses to do it . The last thing is Biden needs to come out of hiding and help throw some water on the fire . He will lose the election if they keep him hid while everyone else is jet setting around trying to answer for him .

What is the point with all these arrests then quick releases? Has to be so frustrating for the police and I consider these actions by city leaders to be complicit for these killings and destruction.

I don't know what you are watching/reading but I've seen plenty of Democrats speak out against violence and looting-- even the families of the victims. Like I said, the people who are angry about police brutality are not listening to anyone right now. OTOH, the Trump people would definitely listen to Trump if he said for them to stay away from that.. So many blame him for the divisiveness when things were peaceful--not allowing them to kneel, etc, so it is never going to end well when far left and right get together.

What would you have Trump do , how long has this in Portland been going on ? , We watched more looting and rioting in Minneapolis just this last week because a black guy shot himself in the head . Sooner or later blaming Trump for everything , while watching the ones in charge of these cities and states get a pass is not going to work any longer . I’m just guessing here but people are going to get sick of tantrums and why are you letting this happen won’t be a question for Trump . It will be a question for the ones in charge of that state / city .. as it should be .

Like always those are just words..... we need to quit listening to what politicians say and Judge them by their actions.... All of the democrat leaders have in some way either through compliance with or allowing it to happen..... I would have Trump call out the Far Right, like he does the Far Left. Be a President to AMERICANS not just the people who vote for him-- You don't see him calling White Supremacists thugs and SOB's or calling for violence against them. He's the President, and if he had acted like one of ALL from the beginning, then I think this country would have been in much better shape. This is for another thread, but he definitely needed to follow medical guidelines like the rest of the world on Covid-- who have all mostly recovered, while our country has 25 percent of deaths with 4 percent of the population. I never liked Trump, but came out and said I felt for him, and if he handled this well, I'd vote for him. I gave him his chance and I think he's the worst President that America has ever had.
