Andrew Hendrix & Tommy Rees Status at ND

Now that Notre Dame's coach Wetzel was just fired is there any news that Andrew Hendrix of Tommy Rees will be looking around? Any idea the CLK will put the push on either one. We could really use another quality QB with this class. GO VOLS! epper:

Nice! What odds do you give us on stealing him away from ND? I think with Crist going down and the lack of QB's at ND it will be hard. Although I think it really depends on the who the new coach will be.

If Rees commits I see the following happening. One of Rees or Bray will Redshirt(probably Bray). The other will have the opportunity to beat out Stephens next year. IMO Stephens will have to lose the job tho.

I dont think the staff is nearly as high on Pick Nick as they seemed during the QB "competition" during the fall and spring. He will have to improve a LOT by all accounts from inside the program. There is a good reason that CLK stood behind JC so steadfastly early this season when he was playing terrible....and our OC even said it.... if Nick got put in, fans would be screaming for JC back in there. One thing we know for SURE is that Bray will get the opportunity to beat him out. If Bray picks up the system mentally well enough, I dont think there is anyone that would say Nick is more "talented" than Bray. I just want the guy in there who can win games for us, even if it is Lamaison.

Bray is a much better prospect then Rees, really lost on all this love for Rees.
