How? By chastising the coaching staff for not knowing who they can get and who they can't?

what's the difference between that and those on here who say it's not realistic to expect UT to compete for national championships?

If you don't think they can get the best players in the country, how can you think UT will ever compete at the absolute highest levels?

And Leslie McDonald, Elliott Williams, Thad Young, and about a thousand others. Anyone who thinks Ferguson is coming here falls into the lunatic fringe who believes Tony Wroten will end up in Knoxville. Also, I didn't know at the time that each of the usual suspects for Curtis Malone's guys thinks Selby is more trouble than he's worth.

I successfully predicted that UT would not get Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Luol Deng, Chris Paul, Rudy Gay, Mario Chalmers, Kevin Durant, Michael Beasley, and Tyreke Evans. I'm sort of the man around here. People know me.

Funny, I don't remember anyone around here saying any of those guys were coming to Tennessee. That's the difference.

Who said they can't get the best players? I'm simply saying they have no shot at Ferguson. It's not a tough distinction to follow.

My post wasn't meant to be satirical. I certainly hope it didn't come off that way. I really just wanted to tell everyone how awesome I was.

I'll play too! If you want a good pizza in Knoxville go to the Mellow Mushroom on the Strip!

I'll continue with the madness! Best pizza in Tennessee that I've eaten, with only the top choice being ranked:

1. Old Venice - Memphis
2. Memphis Pizza Cafe - Parts unknown
3. Mellow Mushroom - Chatanooga, Knoxville, possibly
more locations

This thread has reached new lows: defending the merits of Cici's "pizza," Hyundais, and Rivals basketball rankings... carry on.

I once knew (in the biblical sense) a girl that worked at Cici's.

Didn't think it could go any lower did you?

"I took a visit to Tennessee," he said. "I was there for an AAU tournament, so I also toured the campus and talked to the coaches. It was really good. I liked the school a lot."

nothing new. Just his newest quote.

So if they shouldn't go after a top-rated player who has visited and shown interest in the program, why would we believe they have any chance at any other top-rated player? Who would you suggest they go after?

You've discredited our highest-rated recruits recently (Hopson and Selby namely), and if the others we're after are impossibilities, I'm starting to doubt whether UT can ever reach the top echelon.

The pizza place by Oak Ridge's football stadium is awesome. Our coahes used to get pizza from there for the trip back to Chattanooga. Can't remember the name.

It would be a opportune time for a signee like this, Tennessee should have a real shot at landing some of the 5 star players.
