If I push someone and they fall and have a heart attack and die do the courts find my pushing him the cause of death or the heart attack? Criminal, not civil.

So in this situation if he didnt die from the knee to the neck but his blood pressure being raised due to the stress of the situation and that stress caused his heart failure would the knee be considered the trigger cause or separate?

That would be for a jury to decide

I don't hang into every word of Trump. A lot of his supporters hang on to every tweet as fighting back. Ok, I get it. Some thought everything Kiffin did was good, dumb or not, was good because any news was good news. I personally find some of it as cringeworthy and not helpful. I also think he says things in ways that allow people to take his message multiple ways. You can't clearly communicate what you say in the form of tweets when it's really important. I don't want this to be acceptable for future presidents but he understands marketing.

However, I am a Trump supporter. IMO, what he says doesn't always feel good and doesn't help but it does not affect his decision making ability. You also know what you are going to get with him. He is new to politics. He does not have a 5 decade record of being terrible and lying. It is not that inexperience that I like but we see he is hated because he is an outsider. He is a common sense POTUS and also a man of the people. He attempts to do what he said he will do in most cases. He cannot help it if some Americans refuse to acknowledge he is the leader and a man of the people. He is not perfect. I did not vote for him in the primary because I didn't think he was the best option. Lining him up against what the democrats had to offer was an easy choice. I had just voted for Obama in the previous election. The democrats keep trotting out worse candidates than Clinton and that is saying something. The party is in bad shape.

Btw, by the end of Obama's term I was disappointed in his tenure.

Authorities: Killing of Federal Officer in Oakland Protest was Domestic Terrorism

(AP) — The killing of a federal contract security officer who was watching over a protest in Oakland, Calif., was an act of domestic terrorism, U.S. authorities said Saturday.

A vehicle pulled up outside the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building at about 9:45 p.m. Friday local time and someone opened fire at two contract security officers who worked for the Federal Protective Service of the Department of Homeland Security, killing one and critically wounding the other, authorities said.

The identities of the officers were not released.

The officers protect federal court houses as part of their regular duties. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials said they were monitoring the protest over the police killing of George Floyd in Minnesota.

“When someone targets a police officer or a police station with an intention to do harm and intimidate — that is an act of domestic terrorism,” DHS Acting Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli said.

A suspect hasn’t been named and it wasn’t immediately known whether authorities have determined if the shooter had anything to do with the protest.
