Another bad apple (George Floyd case)

I've got this crazy idea that everybody is responsible for their actions and any other claims should have substantial evidence.

All white people are responsible for one white person.

All black people are responsible for one black guy.

All cops are responsible for one cop.

I'm not going to play that game with you.

We can talk about crime demographics, causality in police violence, whatever you want. I think the protest stays as vague as possible because they know the facts won't bear out the narrative.

I agree with the premise in general but I don't agree that if protests don't have a specific aim that they are unwarranted. Seems an unnecessary requirement.

People don't have to be organized around a singular principle to express their frustrations.

None of the above justifies violence or criminal acts.

Watts, Detroit, LA, Ferguson and Minneapolis... all of those riots triggered by police violence of some sort. In fact, most riots usually start because of some aggressive and deadly police encounter. It really isn't that hard to understand why people have seen nothing change with regards to the police and how they interact with civilians and see them react in this way.

Man this is good but so unreceptive by so many.
I understand what he's saying. Again, my issue is that people like him don't have the ability to step away from their situation and see things from the other side.

The system probably works well for people like that. So of course they don't see any need to react in such a way... nor do they see the police as a threat to them.

I get it. They simply see life through a different lens.

The police generally arent a threat for productive citizens. There are always exceptions.

I disagree, but fair enough.

There is a difference between something like a vigil and a protest. Nothing wrong with community coming together to show solidarity.

I still have heard why you think I’m “racist” outside of how that is the liberals go-to when you run out of logical debate points

Lol, you think you've made logical debate points. That's rich.

I've inferred your latent racism from this and the Arbery thread. Your butthurt over the liberal 'go to' is unconcerning to me, just calling it like I see it.

Own it, this is an anonymous forum. Nothing sticks... The libtard think you're a moron anyway, just man up and say what we all know anyway.

This isn't about that, this is about anarchy and lawlessness because they can, this quit being about this when the cop was arrested and **** got worse. Why is that so hard to understand for you

Classic.

A little more empathy would go a long way.

The right to protest is among the greatest gifts we were born into. I don't have to share the frustration of protestors to support the act

Play stupid games win stupid prizes, if someone gets run over its their own damn fault

I've been thinking all along this is a terrible environment for a horse. Lucky it appears there were no serious injuries in either case. It's a small miracle that NYPD officer wasn't pulled out and quartered on the spot.

And let me say this. The lack of empathy goes both ways. There are plenty of black people that are not willing to look at the other side, either. That is why I said earlier that the only way this can begin to get better is if these two groups either sit down and begin to see each others views or they get out of the damn way and let the rest of us try to sort all of this out and fight our common enemy.
