As CNN Reporter Claims ‘Protests’ ‘Entirely Peaceful,’ He Gets Proven Wrong Live on Air

As we have previously reported, MSNBC has been consciously trying to avoid calling the riots over the death of George Floyd “riots.”

They’ve used all kinds of other terms.

As rioters were setting a fire right behind Ali Velshi, he claimed they were “mostly protests,” not generally speaking “unruly.”

But they aren’t the only folks trying to avoid the word.


CNN was also doing it, still calling the rioters protesters, even as they attacked CNN headquarters in Atlanta.

But as Miguel Marquez was following a line of protest cars in Minnesota that he described as “entirely peaceful,” it became very clear that wasn’t true as people threw things at him at least twice, including a bottle, during the report. He then admitted that had been happening from the “entirely peaceful” people who also cursed him out.

He almost apologizes for having to report it, it blows the narrative. He even says they threw things at us, “but not in a mean way.” Yeah, throwing bottles at you, yelling “F–k CNN” is just being pleasant, “entirely peaceful.” We are through the looking glass here with CNN trying to control the narrative.​

Atlanta police officer hit by ATV, 'seriously injured' during second night of protests

A police officer in Atlanta was seriously injured after being hit by an ATV during a second night of demonstrations over the death of George Floyd, according to officials.

The Atlanta Police Department said on Twitter the incident happened around 10:30 p.m., after a person was riding in the area struck the officer on the 200 block of Ted Turner Drive in the city's downtown.

"I thought he was dead," Tony Heard, who witnessed the incident, told FOX5.

A few moments later, police told FOX5 the ATV returned to the intersection and hit the officer.

Officials have not yet said if the incident was intentional. The person on the ATV sustained minor injures and was taken into custody. The rider has not yet been charged.

Woman charged with rioting in downtown Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman is facing riot charges after police say she refused orders to leave the downtown area late Saturday night.

According to arrest records, Victoria Jones was one of roughly 150 people that were rioting in the area of Beale Street and Main Street.

Police say people were throwing bottles and screaming while police stood in line, trying to calm the crowd.

Jones allegedly refused to leave after police told her to leave multiple times.

Arrest records say she resisted arrest by grabbing an officer’s handcuffs and trying to runaway.

Interesting. We know this is going on. And these females appear to be Asian. I think there are a lot of foreign nationals in these groups that don't give a damn about our shared values. This is who the Democrats want to litter our country with.

Gov. Lee authorizes National Guard to stabilize Nashville protests

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is calling on the Tennessee National Guard to stabilize crowds of people who were protesting the death of George Floyd.

“At the request of Mayor Cooper, I am authorizing the National Guard to mobilize in response to protests that have now taken a violent, unlawful turn in Nashville. The threat to both peace and property is unacceptable and we will work with local law enforcement and community leaders to restore safety and order. This is not a reflection of our state or the fundamental American right to peaceful protest,” Gov. Lee said in a statement.​

According to WREG’s sister station in Nashville, Mayor John Cooper declared a state of civil emergency after ‘I Will Breathe’ protests turned violent, leading to a fire at the Nashville Metro Courthouse.​

Metro Police issued a curfew for the entire city beginning at 10 p.m. and strongly urging those causing harm to leave. They earlier deployed gas on Broadway to disperse crowds and deployed gas at the courthouse to protect the building after protesters set it on fire.​

​

Police in Nashville said Sunday morning that 30 businesses and buildings were damaged overnight. Twenty-eight people were arrested.​

Nashville acted swiftly though it still didn't stop some destruction. I wanted more arrests to let these hoodlums know law enforcement was serious.
