Another bubble team goes down

The rpi is our major concern and if we won both games (Auburn lost) it still would not have raised our rpi enough to get us in the dance. Remember our win over vandy only moved us 5 points.

Thats largely because it was at home... a neutral court win over ole miss should give us a similar jump... maybe a few spots more

What I don't understand is people still talking about Miss St. getting in. Did anyone see that game yesterday? They suck, out loud, have completely quit on the year. It's amazing that a team with that much talent could be so horrible. Who's their coach?

I saw something lunardi said that it's proven that the NCAA rarely takes a team under 500 in conference, but including the conference tourney.

If this is true, then seton hall should not make it.

Correct?

Well Lunardi is a ri-tard then because he is quoted as saying UCONN is a lock in the NCAA yet they went 8-10 in the conference. What gives?

Correct?

This applies to Seton Hall, Northwestern, Mississippi State, and UConn (who everybody says is a lock)

Including the conference tournament, UConn went 10-11. Still below .500

By his theory then they should not make it.

I doubt they'll be left out though.

Maybe it'll be an exception who knows. I'm just reiterating what he said a few days ago.

A team under .500 in conference has been taken more times than you think over the years. Maryland, USC, and Arizona being the three biggest examples over the last couple of years.

UConn is 6-7 against the top 50 with an RPI of 31. No bubble team can even begin to touch that and most other "locks" can't either. They are in comfortably IMO
