I was shocked how they kept letting him escape to the right. They should have made him drive 80 yards and Alabama has the worst field goal kicker in the country which is why Saban has the biggest balls throwing it after they had already gotten in “field goal range”. He wasn’t risking field goal to lose

They didn't need 80 to get in FG range. The dumb part was not getting out of the fake after Bama lined up straight defense.

You're right! We know what Saban assistants do (two in fact), and they are absolute poison. You will find out soon enough with Pruitt too. I'll take Urban 2.0 any day. At least Urban won it all at UF twice, not at some rival school. Replicating some of what we had before is not the same as trying to imitate a rival.

Bama was still passing once in FG range, their fg kicker sucks. They essentially needed 80 yards.

If you thought the fake punt was bad, how about bringing the back up QB in the game for one play late, then ran him for almost no gain. Effectively further embarrassing him as they've not let him throw the ball all year!!! How bad does THAT get???

I think he threw the ball against Georgia Tech, but yea you are totally right. How he managed JF was an embarrassment.

OU hasn’t won crap since Saban was around. I will give you Clemson. State looks over rated every year except the one they won.

And didn’t allow the entire clock to be run off by Bama’s offense. The reason they had a shot at the end was because of that call. Stick to madden if you can’t understand the call. Once again, I wouldn’t have made it but there is reasonable calculus behind the call.

It was ALMOST as dumb in a tight game with NC ramifications, to put the 2nd string QB in for one play, a run for almost no gain. The youngster was not allowed to throw a pass the whole season, an embarrassment IMO. The youngster was supposedly a better player than Fromme coming out of hs. That said if you were going to run a trick play, you let him pass the ball downfield. Smart is not dumb and dumber, he's dumbest their first cousin who rides the short buss.

It was a dumb call. You make a qb that hasn't had a meaningful drive in 1 year, drive it the full distance on a top notch D.

At this point, you're the only person on the whole internet calling it anything but stupid. Congrats.
