another obama red flag

You are right, Hamas will either have to be disbanded or completely change their philosophy (which I do not believe will happen). Playing both sides of the fence hasnt been tried yet, so why not?

That has been one of the goals for the past 8 years on and off to get both sides to come to compromises that will ultimately culminate in peace but with every step forward there is an attack that sets every thing back two steps. The biggest problem now is that the country is divided with to groups wanting power. Whatever deal you make with one will not suit the other.

I am pro Israel, so my view may be scewed, but I really doubt of those people are innocent.

But I have been known to be wrong occasionally.

:eek:k:

I am certainly not anti-Israel, but when you kill 4 year olds, you shouldn't expect much sympathy.

over the past 8 years do you really believe we were playing both sides of the fence?

I fail to see how this is an issue. Saying that the United States should be more even handed in its Middle Eastern policy is not being Anti-Semitic. Sympathizing with the "Palestinian cause" is not being Anti-Semitic. I see more problems with constantly setting the guy up as a straw man than I do with Obama who has on many occasions spoken openly and honestly and paid the price in our PC political system that values dishonesty and pandering.

i'm not saying being sypathetic to palestine is anti-semitic. it's the people he is hanging out with AGAIN who are anti-semitic. these are people that have openly said that isreal should be run off the face of the earth and blame jews for all of our problems in america and abroad. obama's preacher is another anti-semitic guy. if obama isn't anti-semitic why does he hang out with all these people? surely he must know their views.

It shouldn't surprise any one who Obama has surrounded himself around.

He had to be "noticed" by the Chicago political machine and he med his bed with the people who would put him in the position of gaining power.

This really shouldn't surprise any one....

He's running for office. He was running for the state seat then and they constitute a large voting block. How would he ever get elected if he didnt go talk to them? The question you should be asking is how is it reflected in his state voting record or bills he has sponsored?

I do believe that was the ultimate goal to get both sides to compromise until some consensus was reached. We had to push Israel to concede what they did. The Palestinians have gained and given very little.

We do not control Isreal as much as the world thinks we do and the Palestinians have given nothing.

True, but if they had not wanted some resemblance of peace and we had not urged them they would have given nothing.
