Another Official Thread... Nba Playoffs

The Yao thing is possible, but not likely. The Lakers wont have salary cap room until the 2007-2008 season. Lebron is not wanted in LA, and im glad. The garnett thing is unlikely, but the most possible. They would have to send Odom, filler, and probably 2 future 1st round picks to get him. It wont happen though. The trade that is expected to happen is Boozer in the summer. Also. look for Phil Jackson to be hired as soon as 2 weeks.

Wow Horrey (sp?) just hit two three pointers and the Spurs are on a 8-0 run to pull away by 10.

I can't believe this thread is this DEAD. I mean, I hate the NBA with the best of them but it's the Playoffs!

Playoffs? Playoffs? Reminds me of Jim Mora. :D

I have had the honor of only watching one half this year. Its lost its luster since the Lakers are not in the playoffs. I swear this thread would be booming if Kobe could have gotten them into the playoffs.

I didn't watch one regular season game.

I like underdogs so I am glad to see teams besides the Lakers in it.

Screw the Lakers. I'm glad they're out.

Go Dallas! If they can make it past Houston, I have faith in them to make it all the way to the Finals.

Well im goin for the "baby bulls" because, i really like Ben Gordon..but anyway, the Lakers will be back next year. They need to get Raymond or a really good point for next year and get a few more good players..And they'll be back at the top! :rocks:

2345 I have watched a few playoff games.

utvolfan, I guess I use the term underdog on a longer term scale. The Lakers would have to miss the playoffs for several years in a row before I considered them underdogs.

Yeah i feel ya...but i always consider then the underdogs bc they are the most hated team. This year most of all bc of all of the problems that have surfaced recently.

Well, I gotta add my :twocents: . I have been to quite a few Suns games this year and I don't see anyone hanging with them. A team may take 1, maybe 2, but they will run a team into the ground if they go 7. Plus, with a healthy Steve Nash (the MVP) the Suns are really strong. But, even if they don't win, they're still the most exciting team in the NBA. GO SUNS!! :rocks:

man. espn just killed the nba refs man.

they made two horrible calls in the dallas-houstong game and another in the san antone-denver game.

van gundy was right i guess.

i hate stern

Bad calls happen. Fining Van Gundy was taking it too far, though, even as much as I support Dallas. JVG had a right to complain about the refs, but he should have taken his beef directly to Stern instead of spouting off about it in public.

Yeah, it was kind of funny. I don't watch much NBA, but I will watch the Spurs and the Celtics. I am a big Tim Duncan fan. I watched him play a lot when I lived in Winston and he played for Wake Forest... :good:
