Reports are staff knew this was a legitimate possibility, but never even contacted mathieu, so they truly must not have been too interested. My guess is they don't want someone who is gonna tie up a scholarship next year, they want a one year guy. I have a feeling they were in contact with Barton much longer ago than the day the golden transfer came out. If he ends ups here I don't know, but everyday that passes that he doesn't committ to Maryland our chances increase IMO.

I'm not sure if Dixon is gonna receive his waiver, that would likely play a big part on our potential interest in him. If he is going to, he is definitely someone Zo should be after, and would help us more than Barton IMO.

I agree with everything. I think Maryland is the team to beat for Barton, but I believe we're a firm close second.
