in all serious, i'm a bit surprised that the kid would rather play junior college ball than be second string at usc.

A bit surprized? Get real. Sitting on the bench, even at USC, isn't what most quality players, or even better than average players, want to do.

Rumor on wearesc that fullback D.J. Shoemate is transferring to UConn.

I hope the transfers keep on' keepin' on.

Tyron Smith + TJ Bryant + another OL to Tennessee would be phenomenal. Mustain wouldn't hurt either.

I'm dreaming, but it's a nice dream, nonetheless.

Shoemate after the sanctions were handed down:

"Nothing can break us," he said. "The only thing that can break us is ourselves and we know that. We are just taking this as an opportunity to get better and live up to the expectations of our fans, family members and each other.

After further review and IMO, I wish that NO players were allowed to leave usc. That way all of the negativity would rot the program from the inside out.

Bitter, unhappy players experiencing monte's kid's BS and lies would allow for a more spectacular and complete destruction of the slug and his latest enablers.

true. but what is happening is actually happening is also fun to watch and will essentially accomplish the same thing as it will take a long time to rebuild and by that time a number of other schools will have passed them by as the dominant programs
