Another USC player leaving?

I was talking to a friend of mine at work and he brought up the point that USC will lose more players once the starters are announced? I was just wondering if any of you thought the same thing... Will there be any possibilty (at all) of us getting a little more D-Line and O-line help if more players do leave after the starters are announced... :hi:

There was a national CFB writer that posted something similar to your buddys comments on twitter yesterday. Cant remember who it was, but it was talking about how they can transfer at anytime this year or next year. Said to look for kids right before school starts, once depth charts are released. Seemed a little sarcastic.

Just a crushing blow. I wonder how in the world USC will replace Carswell's 5 catches for 21 yards.

Laugh all you want about it. But for those who have never run a football program, it actually does hurt. Once you start getting around 10 or more scholarship guys leaving the program it begins to have a sizeable affect on how you run practices, how physical you can be, etc.

What football program did you help run?

It does make sense..

Wow.

I guess it's possible that monte's kid has conned more kids into staying by telling them that they can transfer anytime. Just stay at sc and see how it works out and if you're not high on the depth chart in the fall, then you can go anywhere you feel is best for you.

Just a guess, but it wouldn't surprise me. He's probably close to survival mode at this point. He was bad enough when he was secure. The Lord only knows what he's capable of if he's desperate.

What school? What years? What was your job title?

I dont want anonymous people on the internet stalking myself or my family. Tennessee has a lot of nutjob fans. There are very few people on here I would ever share that information with.

USC senior WR Travon Patterson told USCFootball.com he is transferring to Colorado.

I'm sure it's no big deal.

He sucked and wasn't going to play anyway.

They'll be fine. Good riddance.

Underachiever. Just taking a scholarship from someone who could contribute anyway.

the dude had no prayer of starting. so far it is true sc hasn't lost anyone of note. of course it kills their depth and they wont be able to survive through injuries like prior seasons. my bet is SC's november record is a lot worse in the next couple of yeras.

Yes, and quicker than most hope and/or think. It's not like they're competing against juggernauts in that conference, unless you consider a Cal program that hasn't been to a Rose Bowl since Bob Pettit and the St. Louis Hawks won the NBA title, a UCLA program with a bumbling idiot like Neuheisel, or an Oregon program that prides itself on jerseys with wings and Heisman campaigns for NFL INT machines, able candidates to be the premier program on the WC.

i think they will recover because they're usc... not a weak pac 10. oregon is under a bit of a football revolution, both the beavs and ducks are going to be good for a long time... and it looks like stanford is back on track for recruiting. is it the sec? no. but discount what utah and the oregons can do for that confrence

Just a shame to see this happen to USC

I hope your joking. I am so very glad that it is happening. Pete Carroll is the golden child...a clear cheater and gets no bad wrap for his screw ups. He's the one who made out like a bandit in this entire situation. Well played Pete.
