How does Marvel not realize their success is due to mainly sticking to the core of their characters with only a few tweaks here and there(barring Fury)? They are totally fawking up Hank Pym/Ant-Man.

Read a theory that Marvel has been throwing a red herring about Ultron in Avengers 2 and it will be Stark continuing Pym's earlier work that leads to Ultron' creation.

This was just a theory based off things from IM3 (which I still haven't watched) and the Avengers 2 trailer.

That trailer makes it feel like a kids movie. I know what Ant-Man is but it's hard not having 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' flashbacks when I see him on the bug flying around.

I just watched it today and thought it was one of Marvel's better films. Paul Rudd was great in it and it was a really enjoyable movie, especially with the humor involved.

It was...okay. I felt like it was rushed. Like, I turned to my wife afterwards and said "is that it"?

I really enjoyed this movie. It was really light throughout and never took itself very seriously which I thought was a good decision. I also really like Paul Rudd though.

My synopsis:

Ok so the fight scenes are incredible. It's not just like he's small, he goes big-small-big-small really fast, so he kind of uses it like a disappearing act while he's fighting. He's going to be a terrific Avenger. The movie was funny but not nearly as funny as I thought it would be.

I'm gonna be honest it's not one of Marvel's best. It dangerously flirts with the line of being cheesy, like Spider-Man cheesy, but doesn't quite cross it. It's got some side story stuff that's annoying (the whole Pym and his daughter thing was an over-dramatized, rushed backstory) and not very interesting. If the fight scenes weren't incredible I would be disappointed, but they were the saving grace of the movie.

THis has probably already been posted, but...

Did anyone stay after the credits? There is a scene after the first credits and then another after the second. It ends with like "ANT man will return." Has to do with Captain America. Pretty cool.

I actually really liked this one. Always kind of liked Paul Rudd... (I'm not a girl and I'm not gay.) Think he is funny, decent actor.

Why would liking Paul Rudd make you gay? I think he's funny as hell...would you like to go on a date?
