Marshall was the lead recruiter at CofC when they started pulling SEC caliber players under John Kresse. He's also built the talent base at Wichita. His work at getting players above the league he was in was undoubtable at Winthrop. Mooney's been at Air Force, where you don't really recruit, and Richmond, which has been pretty good since Dick Tarrant was there. Just not sure he has the pop on the recruiting trail to win enough battles for the kind of players you need to win in a BCS league.
Alright. Just wondering what the reasoning was. For the record, I'd be happy with either one, although I like Marshall a bit better.
