May I ask you a serious question? Do you also think that the actors in your local Little Theater or whatever it's called deserve your worship , or is it the fact that there is a camera in front of Meryl Streep and the like ? They do the same thing. Actors pretend to be somebody that they aren't. They play a part. Not that important in the grand scheme. This makes zero sense. Streep is a famous, A-list celebrity. Pure class.
She doesn't need the attention. You're grasping at straws here.
I'm not sure using the Oscars is quite the feather in one's cap these days. Most of the movies nominated typically suck dead donkey butt and 95% of the population hasn't seen them.
Van Hagar had some decent music after DLR left the band. 5150 was a good album and OU812 wasn't completely horrid. And Humans Being is a pretty badazz song with a good guitar intro.
I don't get the Sammy Hagar hate when it comes to Van Halen.
I'm not sure how they've done at the box office (nor do I care) but of the movies nominated for best picture this year, I've seen Arrival, Hacksaw Ridge and Manchester by the Sea and they were all pretty damn good, imo. I haven't seen La La Land but if you don't like Emma Stone, well... you're just not an American male.

Is he the one who sang "I can't drive 55" way back in the dark ages? I'm too lazy to google that.
Back in I believe it was 1985 or 86 I was on the campus at UCLA. He came by, dressed in that futuristic jump suit he wears in that video. I figured later that some scene was being filmed there.
He said nothing. I did not realize who he was at the time.
