Van Hagar had some decent music after DLR left the band. 5150 was a good album and OU812 wasn't completely horrid. And Humans Being is a pretty badazz song with a good guitar intro.

I don't get the Sammy Hagar hate when it comes to Van Halen.

I liked Sammy Hagar before VH. Three lock box and standing Hampton. VOA wasn't terrible.

I agree... I saw Van Halen at TBA in 1989 with Hagar and it was a great show. I know it's not cool to say you liked them better with Sammy but they stopped doing old covers (Pretty Woman - seriously?) and 5150 was a great album... also, 'Cabo Wabo' is some awesome tequila!

I saw VH twice with Hagar..... the OU812 tour and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge..... they sucked both times. Each time their sound man really trashed up the mix for the first half of the show and they seemed bored to me..... I was majorly disappointed
