Half of Trump's Cabinet and inner circle are Goldman-Sachs folks. The other half want to be.

This is more boy who cried wolf by him. It worked once or twice, or at least Trump made it look that way. But now its getting boring.

He believes that, had he been there at the time, he could have gotten Jesus and Satan to get along and make a deal.

That's what a lot of this boils down to. Everything is terrible, and he, and he alone, is the answer to fixing it, because he's the dealmaker.

Funny, it's been 100 days and we have yet to behold his magnificent dealmaking prowess. I guess he's saving it for something important.

That can't be real quote right? :thud::eek:lol:

"Why was there the Civil War?"

Hasn't that been one of the most talked about topics in American history? There's a simple answer, and a more complicated answer, both of which are correct, but I'm pretty sure people have asked that question a lot.

He also seems to forget that Jackson almost started the war himself about 30 years previously during the Nullification Crisis, making his speculation that Jackson could have prevented the war suspect, but that is way too much to expect from him if he believes that Jackson was alive at the time the war was fought.

It's incredible that people still buy this crap from him.

It's becoming clearer and clearer the more we learn about Donny-Russia and other related scandals that brought him to power that some very powerful, very wealthy individuals wanted Donny in the White House.

To "drain the swamp"? Yes, that's exactly why they wanted him there.

It's not just this bozo is uninformed on the geopolitical stage, he can't even be bothered to brush up on American history before running his trap.

I don't think he means to come off as a complete idiot, I mean - maybe he's never heard of slavery. Maybe he's just not willing to admit, or is otherwise completely ignorant of his own ignorance. Which is a bit scarier, because he doesn't even know he should be asking for help.

People like him and in his position usually are.

This is evident with how he treats the press and Congress: he limits access to the press because "they are unfair" while at the same time suggesting radical rule changes in the two branches of government he has no business meddling with, because "they are unfair." He complains about obstructionism when he openly advocated it while Obama was in power. He is setting the entire narrative: "everybody is against poor me."

It is only a matter of time before he starts to over-reach. His supporters will lap it up willingly to stick it to liberals, and a Republican Congress will let him over-step for fear of losing re-election to those same supporters. And they will buy it, since they have no problem with him cozying up to tyrannical dictators and admitting them.

Strange times, indeed.

Of course the media is trotting out the usual list of derelicts to defend Donny's ignorance.

The day this fake presidency comes to an end (and that's coming sooner than most think), our collective IQ will improve by at least 20-30 points.

MAGA needs a good ***** slap, that's for certain.
